i have never been but it is walking distance from Hammerstein, i cant get on to the official crobar site, but a review page i read says the cover is $25.00, i dont know if it will be more with hooky and baker DJing, it also says it super trendy and always crowded. im sure drinks are pricey here as well. do we want to do this or something else? so all we have to decide on is where we are meeting up, and i say it should be the: TGI Friday's (212) 563-7440 484 8th Ave New York, NY 10001

eCKo im sure you will get a ton of requests for the guest list for crobar, can you handle them all? if so should anyone interested e-mail you with their info?(name etc.) if so this sounds okay to me

Well, I believe I'll be able to be on the guest list.. would they refuse a guest because he's wearning jeans AND a NOOL t-shirt :p

Especially if NOOL is going to be a "sponsor" (lending name only) of such an event ;)

I hope they have a 2nd show too and I'll be there.

I dont think they'll be tuff on the concert goers.

If not we all boycott the f&*king place and tell hooky and arthur to move it elsewhere.

WIll new order be at the afterparty or is it just a NOOL thing?

lessons learned from following the cure around on tour, if you plan on getting back stage or into the afterparty, dress to impress. the bands usually could care less, but its the fucking club owners and doormen that will give you shit for wearing a band tee shirt and jeans and gym  shoes. keep in mind these places where the bands go to hang out are yuppy and trendy, 90 percent of the ppl there wont even know who new order is or what they look like. but they'll pose for photos with them "cuause they must be famous, ill find out when i get home and do a google search". leave the nool and new order shirts at home or bring an extra shirt. hopefully that wont be the case with new order, but it has been like that with the cure, and depeche and duran (my ex-gf follows them (depeche and duran) around on tours and gets into all the private after partys)

It shouldn't be that bad at CROBAR on a Thursday night.

Hoever if you show up in shorts, penny loafers or sneakers, and sleeveless new order shirts your chances diminish quite drastically...and this is to just get into the club to hear Hooky and AB DJ if in fact they do the main room.

I will talk to the promoters there and see what I can find out and we can put a list together for all those who wanna at least get into the club.

Kumar maybe we can share info and put something together on this. I can try and find out the DJs for the night and see if I can use my connex in the industry and the clubs to get the best deal.

Most of us might be too old and drunk anyway by the time this thing pops off.
