NYC Show Details?

Hoping we can have a thread that is just about the NYC show where we can check up til the 5th...

questions:

1. Where is the real aftershow happening happening?

2. Where are NOOLers meeting beforehand?

3. What time should we REALLY show up for the gig?

4. Who is opening?

My comments:
2) I am not a big fan of TGIF, there must be a more interesting spot nearby? TGIF is one step up from McDonalds really. It would be great to find a spot where NOOLers can invade and order up some fine Pernod cocktails...

3. I suppose this has to do with 4... is Baker spinning prior to them taking the stage? What time will things be getting interesting? My wife is 6 mos pregnant and I'd rather not be standing around from 6pm til 8pm for no reason... I'm 35 and could care less by the way about getting in early just to be able to stand up close to Bernard... I figure anywhere in the club will be a good spot to see and hear them....

4. $25 is not ridiculous for afterhours, considering NO pretty much play once every 15 years in NYC... but how will a balding 35 yr old fan and his pregnant wife get past the hipster bouncergate... I used to never have a problem, but things (my hair, my beltsize) have changed in the past 10 years!!!! :^> (will my original lowlife tshirt work?)

we picked fridays because we arent going to be there for long, and its right up the street from the gig we are meeting there having a beer or two and i guess then hitting the line. if anyone has a better plan feel free to propose it, im open for anything , McDonalds Maybe? ,lol
