I don’t want to start out with a review, because there are those who might read this in New York who haven’t seen the show yet, and I don’t want to spoil it for them A few things I do want to say though. Now I was in the front row on the left and met some awesome people. Eric & Ian you guys rock. And of course the guy with the pointy hair that almost took my eye out a couple of time 8) while jumping up and down I hope you had a safe trip back to Ohio. I can’t wait to see the pictures, we are looking forward to them.
But… this message is for those idiots who came to the concert and tried to ruin it for the rest of us. You all know who I’m talking about. The ones who come late and think they can stumble their drunken asses up into the front row. There was a group of these idiots who came through pushing everyone around trying to make their way to the front of the stage pretending to be the next person they past best friends. I had had enough and asked them to please be considerate of those who came to the concert and waited in line, standing there for two hours+ to see New Order. One of the little drunks acted like he couldn’t hear me when I was asking him to stop pushing me and the others. Even when I was speaking right into his ear he said “I can’t hear you.” Ironic he could hear that. Somebody above must have seen what was coming because no sooner than that, their other drunken collaborator plowed into four people almost knocking down a girl. This wasn’t a good move since she was with some pretty big guys. At this point the bouncers took over, and they did a wonderful job.
The drunks then tried to befriend the bouncers and that only made things worse for them. Rule #1 – Don’t patronize the staff. One of the females in their posse started yelling at the bouncers, not a smart move. Rule #2 – There is no rule #2 in Bouncer club. It just happened to be Mr. pretend deaf’s girlfriend mouthing off. She went psychotic and lurched at me and grabbed my hair. I mean… I just got it cut. There wasn’t much to grab 8). At that time it was over for them, the bouncers had seen enough of these jackasses and tossed the whole lot out. They even asked me if I wanted to press charges, I figured they had enough pain for one night, and I wanted to enjoy the concert. 8) So I want to say a big “Thank You!” to the Aragon Bouncers by the stage who saved the concert for the rest of us, you did a wonderful job.
So… the moral of the story, if you are going to the concert, please show consideration for the others, and if you are going to get wasted and you can’t even walk, go sit in the balcony or stay at home. You only look like and ass.
As for the party at Neo afterwards. It was a great time! My wife and I met some really great people, danced and stayed way past our bedtime. The fan club handed out CD’s thank you very much. Although, I didn’t get one of the autographed ones it’s the gesture that counts, thank you gain. You pulled off a wonderful event for these longtime New Order fans from Wisconsin. The trip was well worth it.
I don’t want to give a review and spoil for those of you in New York like I stated above. But a just a couple pointers if I might. Brush up on comprehending your Manchester. England accent, Bernard was hard to understand for this Wisconsin yokel at times. Also don’t expect Bernard to move around a lot. Apparently he banged up his foot surfing in California and was limited on stage. But what a trooper, you could tell he was in pain, and hung in there for the crowd. Peter Hook, was just fantastic. Tommy Lee of Motley Crue would be envious of his energy level on stage. Thank you again! And I hope you all enjoy the show as much as we did! Mark & Angie

but yeah, the show was awesome!!!! especially for us since we have never seen them in concert. (we're youngins).
