it's on page eight. you'll have to join (free) to get it. make sure you get the correct version, i think that's all that is available now, but be sure to read the posts under the link. google for "what is a torrent" for full information on how to download this, it was new to me as well, but after a little research, it was clear, and then i just imported into itunes

Same here. I'm an addict.

it doesn't show it as existing. i would ask the original poster for more information, or look around in the thread for people talking about it, there's at least one person per page after page eight.

i wonder if aadam jacobs taped the Chicago show... he's taped virtually every indie show in chicago for the last 20 years, and even taped a 1985 NO show that ended up as a bootleg in a Manchester record store that got Joe Shanahan (Cabaret Metro owner) in trouble with Peter Hook:

He has a pretty sweet setup - dual PZM mics into a DAT recorder so if he taped Aragon, it might sound better than Crumbaugh's minidisc recording.

It's a pity that the Chicago Metro show from 1983 never showed up anywhere, it was a legendary gig by all accounts. 27 different pieces of equipment failed on stage during the gig, and they ended up doing an acoustic set!

Quite an interesting article that, the usual inaccuracies though......New Order played the Bismarck Theater in 1985, the Aragon in 1986, out of town in 1987 and 1989. The only show at the Metro was in 1983, before Aadam Jacobs was taping. Does Joe Shanahan own the Bismarck?
