Who's planning to do this?

What do you think your chances are of managing it?

Anyone interested in sharing a car - get in touch!

No fucking way - I'm not leaving until late on Monday.

Driving back to Manchester way (Northwich) as soon as I am sober enough, then on to Aberdeen on Tuesday morning!

Hmmmm - when I was a nipper and used to do Glastonbury each year we'd always go down on the Weds and get our arses up early on the Monday to avoid being stuck in the endless queues that screwed us in 1992. Six bastard hours siiting in the car to get off the site. Though I guess they may have improved things since I was last there in 1995....

...though that was still waaaaaaaaaaay better then the 12 hours it took to get onto the Phoenix site in 1996. Missed the bloody Cocteaus I did. And then Mazzy Star pulled out at the last minute. The only two fucking bands I wanted to see and everything. I nearly cried.

I did that for Orbital last year, basic itinery as follows:

Wednesday - get to Glasto Friday lunchtime - leave Glasto to travel to London Friday night - travel back from London to Glasto Monday - leave Glasto

It was very tiring, and you won't end up with the same car park spot as when you first arrived... Also when you get back in the early hours of the morning (we got back at around 5am), the security guards will take their time to search you (unlike when you first arrive on the Wednesday!) when all you want to do is to get back into your tent for some kip...

Good luck to those who plan to do this! :)

It's either a very early start on Monday or a very late one to avoid the worst of the traffic. I bet I know which one it will be.

I plan to get horribly drunk for Primal Scream and keep drinking until I can't think any more!

Sounds good! Spoke with ATR today, he's bring in another crate for me on saturday, so should have a few tins left over. Still torn between the La's and the Scream. never seen either.

Who's ATR? Sounds like a good bloke - bringing you beer.

The OILMOBILE will be full of booze - it always is.

My mate saw the Las a last week and was very impressed.

I think I'll try to get to the Scream. Never seen them live and one of my favourite bands.
