Could this be the biggest ever gathering of NOOL'ers at a gig?

From the response to the threads on the subject the amount of different people attending this Hyde Park gig is amazing!

we should have had the customary roll call

I`ll be there along with a few mates, one of whom went to see them at the Brixton Academy gig in 1983, but....sold his ticket!! Mind you he reckons he sold it for about thirty quid which was a fair old whack in them days. You are all welcome to point and laugh.

that'll be the 'make modesty history' wristband. I will be donning the drinking boots (rather than booting the drinking Don) and hopefully making it to the audley by 6pm. I may well be accompanied by 'the plague of extraordinary gentlemen'....

Yes! 12.02 GNER from sunny Darlo to sunny London Village, should be in the (seemingly increasingly busy) Audley well before 4 I reckon! And bo****s to the weather, we survived Finsbury Park didn't we?!? Am getting more excited by the minute.....and am going to see England teach the Aussies how to play cricket tomorrow! Nice..:thumb:

I'll be there hopefully about 2:30pm all depend's on the fooking traffic on the M1..

The Stoke-on-Trent massive of one will be there, with his flag and stupid hat, in the pub early afternoon. He hates rain, and looks like the trip to Barca has cost him his job, so will be drinking hard.

Incidentally, given that the weather will be shit, is this pub big enough for us all to cram indoors? Especially given that some New Order fans are bigger than others!?

Whereabouts are you planning on parking your car? Lots of places now have controlled parking zones around stations to make parking difficult. It doesn't help when the station car parks are full

I allway's park mine at Finchley Central tube station, only a ten minute drive away from the M1,then get the tube train into the city, never any hassle :thumb:

Hello! This is my debut post (yes, I'm a lurker! & a tad shy). I'm a 40-something, veteran N O fan & definitely intend making it to the pub, the (New) Audley with my missus and mates mid-afternoon tomorrow.

See you then,

Chris

Hopefully all three members of the New Malden Order will be present at the Audley before kick-off although at the moment, we've not decided on the time.

Has anyone been to the pub over the last few days? What fine ale and stout can I expect? It occurs to me that a goodly number of followers of other faiths will also use the alehouse to meet so it may well be a tad busy!

Havin' it!:thumb:
