I heard from the promoter last night and he has moved the gig from the Bath Halls to the Hangar @ The Crosby Hotel.

New Gig Details: Venue: The Hangar, The Crosby Hotel, Normanby Road, Scunthorpe, North Lincs, DN15 6BQ

Fri: 29.07.2005

Doors Open @ 9pm On Stage Approx 10.30pm

Sorry if this causes anyone any hassle. Cheers Warren

That picture makes it look quite... wow.

Does anyone know if the new venue is far from the old one - looks from the photo like they're playing in a cinema!

Just done a multimap of the new place, dosent look too far. Having a mare finding the postcode of bath halls to compare though. Which is just round the corner from the train station, on the main road in from the motorway if that helps at all

And the electronic drum kit! :( I'll try and make it to the Camden Town gig, I was in The Dublin Castle to see Unknown Pleasures.

Is it gonna be advisable to get a ticket in advance now? And if so, where can i get one from? I wasnt too bothered about booking at Bath Halls cos its reet big, but if the new venues smaller im thinking it may be wise

To be honest I doubt if you will have a problem according to the promoter the venue has a capacity of about 200.

If you do want to get one in advance it maybe be best to phone the venue.

The Crosby Hotel: 01724 843830

Although, I've never been there the venue is apparently upstairs at The Crosby Hotel called 'The Hangar'.

Those photos are fantastic Edd! It looks like you and Martin had had about 50 pints each! I love the last one with Will looking like a real star amongst 'fans'!

Thanks for the complimentary comments guys. I have a deed poll form in front of me and am checking the spelling of Corbijn as i write....

Ness, are you and Greg, or any others from the London Order going to the Ashton gig in September? Should be a good crack i reckon. Would be going to see the Mondays at Clapham (went last year), but i`m going to see Bad Manners in my hometown in a shit nightclub i spent half my youth in instead.

Oh yeah, and i had to dash after 48 pints cos a good friend kindly picked me up for about half the cost of a taxi. Martin may well have hit the magic half ton though....

We have been planning on doing this one for ages, Greg has booked his day off work already, so def see you there. Hope to get some girls I know over from Sheff and Salford also. Don't think any of the other London lot would make the trip 'just for a tribute band'!

Anyone who says that obviously hasn't seen them. I'll make the effort though.
