The main men are well off, you should try and marry one ;)
I only did Europe and I won't be having any other holidays this year!
How the Vikings conciliate work and gigs is still a mistery to me. They don't work when they don't want to or what? ![]()

Most of the gigs were on week-end. That helps.
Rest is finding a way to take some vacation one day at the time I guess.
I'd love to do what they do, and good for them they can do it, but all I managed to afford is 2 gigs close to my place..
But Al works for a bank I think? Might help to have a credit card and a loan
;)
It's not always easy. I had to miss the US leg after my boss cancelled my leave, and I've been a bit unlucky with them this year. It does help to be well paid and either unattached or have an understanding other half, that's for sure!
I wasn't lucky either. I had 30 days of vacation in a row and wasn't able to see New Order live. And I went to England! ![]()
I can't complain much because I had a great time there, met some NOOL legends and saw some gigs that I will never be able to see here (Manics and Durutti Column spring to mind).
I hope I can choose when I'll have vacation next time.
NOOL Legends is right! Like me, for instance. ![]()
Anyway, although i dont follow the order. I follow bands, be it morrissey, ordinary boys, because i dont really have any other form of social life. I go to the pub every week and go to manchester every now and again to go to 5th av, which in itself isnt expensive. So basically, any surplus income, as well as my student overdraft goes on gigs.

Fookin Brilliant on a thursday and a monday. Fantastic on a Friday (i love alliteration, dont you?) and very good on a saturday. I'm Mr. 5th Av, been going in there for 6 years now, and flat out refuse to go anywhere else.

Aww I'd like to be a Viking. But I think all that rape and pillaging will get my back playing up on me!![]()
Apparently actress Juliette Lewis is a Viking, dunno maybe Digital Mike or Biggy lost theirs at Glasto. Here's a pic of her at Leeds Sunday.....

A small boy stole mine from the bonnet of my car.
I saw him with it, but didn't have the heart to take it back off him.
Alright, I was too scared!

Au contraire. Get yourself a partner who likes the Order too. My ex-wife, at just 29, has been to (I think) 25 New Order gigs in her lifetime. The current Mrs J made 4 foreign trips with me this year as well.
John & Christine have got twin teenagers and still appear at as many shows as feasibly possible!
I've got the wife into NO now; she even sings along to a bit of JD here and there!
Babysitters are my key problem as my relatives are all up North...

Drag the kids along, it's not like they're doing over-18's sweatbox clubs anymore!
Mr & Mrs Smedley's son George (his Mum is the American on the 9802 documentary on the 511 DVD) has already done 4 British Sea Power gigs and he's only just turned one!
Good idea- will discuss with wifey...
We've gotta educate the next generation somehow I guess...
