It did have that sort of feel to it! It was the large upstairs room of a pub, felt more like a Working Mens Club than a gig venue. No stage lighting, hence the clarity of image. Pity about the lighting, as the rest of the event was top drawer, from the promoter's organisation through the sound engineers to the knowledgeable and appreciative crowd. And the bass player's bum start to Means To An End. We put our trust in him!

although i do know of a nice (so to speak) warehouse near stratford station from back in my partying days that might do.... ;)
Well, the next stop is booked, and while it ain't quite Ally Pally, Oasis have played there!
