September 29th @ the Ottobar....

a special Thursday night edition of "Underground"!

"Underground" presents....

THE 240 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE TOUR! featuring special DJ set from Joy Division/New Order's Peter Hook!

Peter is doing a 10-day DJ tour of the states (thus the play on 24 Hour Party People). He'll be headlining a special Thursday night edition of "Underground". Doors will open early at 8pm. We'll have drink specials early on & probably some guest DJ's spinning early too. Peter will start his set @ 11pm. The whole last hour of his set will be strictly Joy Division, & New Order...including some rare remixes, etc.

Get your tickets early! There is no DC play for this event, and it looks like there won't be a Philly play either, so we're expecting the die-hard New Order/Joy Division fans to be travelling for this one. Since New Order never tour, this is the next best thing for fans.

Advance tickets go on sale Friday, 9/2/05 @ www.missiontix.com

*cough*, Toronto isn't too hard to beat to be honest... it can't compete with Montreal who is the anomaly of North America as being the 2nd largest french city in the world ;)

But don't tell them about it, they won't like it hehe.

I should have sent you my phone number, too bad we couldn't go for a beer then :(

I'm glad you enjoyed it, hope you didn't "suffer" from speaking english too much hehe.. and trust me, go to Quebec City the next time, you'll love it.

everone said that people would be rude if you didnt speak french, but i must say everyone was really nice. all the people were great, but i did have a run in with the clerk at the metro booth i think she was a little crazy though. i will go back and i will see quebecy city next time too.

you know what i loved the most was Habitat '67 i didnt get a close look though i saw it from across the water in Old Montreal

Hey Mike...I should be there. We'll have to catch up for a game this year too. I didn't make it down to the stadium for opening day. Send me an email when you get a chance.
