Will they come down under again??? This is the question on every aussie NO fans mind. Hopefully something is planned for January 2006...in conjunction with the annual 'big day out' gig.

Anyone heard any news????

I hope they pop to NZ as well.

I also hope it's after Aug 2006 as that's when I intend to be there...

No tour planned here for early 2006, no BDO shows, nada.

Our last hope is probably a couple of shows promoting the next album, Q 3/4 2006.

CD late 2006??? Is it new or just a 'greatest of the greatest hits' CD. I hope it is new.

Also, just in case people closely connected to New Order are reading...BRING BACK THE SUBSTANCE DAYS!!! They shit on your new stuff (even though I like the new stuff too).

And get your asses down to Australia. FUCK WE MISS YOU. Everyone down here is expecting your next tour to be your last...I know dozens of fans who will tour to every city you play in.

In the spirit of Leyton Hewitt... C'MONNN!!!!!

Well thats very nice isnt it?

In light of this, i would once again like to send out my request for New Order to play my front garden.

Well, they wouldn't have to travel that far!

Better still, I think they should invite Digital (and Re: Order) to play their front garden.....

Please come to Australia. I'm begging you.

September/October or October/November tour would be about the right time for them to head down to Oz/NZ- just on the cusp of spring and 2-3 months after the new album comes out(we hope).

I am starting to doubt anything in 2006.

Surely it would have been announced by now.

well, considering we still have 9 months of the year left, theres plenty of time for things to be announced.

Think you'll find there'll be a few NO shows in 2006 that haven't been announced yet.

They were toying with the idea of doing a few shows here for Sirens so don't give up yet.

My hopes are fading fast.

We all sort of knew the late 2006 album release would never evntuate, didn't we? Turn will be lucky if it gets released by then!

But if they don't come after the next album I'll be ticked off. I'll boycott!!!

No, I am too weak to boycott them... :uhoh:

best chances would be late this year, or early next year.

Indeed. Rumours of the last tour surely only appeared maybe 3 or 4 months bewore they did the BDO's and I remember being in Stockholm maybe two months before and Andy Robinson still couldn't give us a straight answer as to whether they were/not playing the festivals.

The Hordern and Metro gigs were only announced in December, no?!

You never know what New Order will do with regards to live dates this year? Only one confirmed so far is Ireland in September, which suggests that there will be others announced at some point?

And given that the Australian summertime is over the Christmas period, I know where I would want to be between November-January! :)

Since I have been disappointed by the wonderful U2, who's concert I would have been at right this moment, please, please, NO, come soon :)

Fingers crossed they come out...

Rumours of Bunnymen & Mondays visiting makes one wonder if a GMEX-esque extravaganza could rumble across the continent?! Oh what joy!!!

No danger of them returning to Australia until at least 2010 - Bernard is still reading Chris Z's account from the 2002 tour!

where you recommend then?

Margaret River's ok, but a bit far away from Perth.

Canberra's shite.

any ideas?

My mouth is watering at that prospect. New Order and Bunnymen tour would be bliss.
