Can't see there being too much interest. Most people who are bothered saw them last week. Not sure I'm interested in seeing the same band two months running...

I'm going to see Bob Dylan at the MEN Arena on Wednesday 16th. So IF I get tickets for this one, I will probably stay for the whole week in Manchester.

Anyone else planning to make a week of it?

Now what would be REALLY good would be if there was another gig on the Tuesday night... Or a night in a club...

Any interest? Any ideas?

any more info regarding those drawing pins ? I don't want to have to edit a post at three a.m. just to bump it back to the top .

Office Angels couldn't help, tried selling me a back rub over the'phone.

New Order have something on on the 16th though...

I'm going to be on the road tomorrow, so I'm relying on me mum's patience with the telephone/internet to get me tickets. Do I disown her if she makes a mess of things?

Of all the days to leave me phone at home! 33 missed calls and 18 texts! Just rolled in from a large night in the city and the question that's on my lips is ..

WHY?!

Why the f--- are New Order playing a one-off like this in Mancland?!

It's not like it's fucking 1986 or summat, or they have anything worth pushing?!

Am I the only one thinking this is a little odd?! They could play half-a-dozen dates at that venue and a lot more all over the country besides, so why the one-off?!

Answers on a postcard please.

I find it to be quite a surprise, as well. I wonder if they will schedule any further gigs! Perhaps they're just doing this out of the goodness of their own hearts. :D

Allen? It almost sounds like you're pissed off!! Don't look into the sun, mate! (Unless, of course, this is an in-joke and you know exactly why they're doing it.....)

That'll be two of us inundated with texts and calls. Big thanks to Liam, who has been singlehandedly trying to keep me in the picture while I was away for the night and without web access. Ticket secured, now for the hotel/train etc. Better see if I can get 2 days off as well I suppose!
