Whichever pub you decide, I'll be there! ![]()
Tickets look as though they're sold out... Only agency that lists tickets available (NME/GigsAndTours aka SeeTickets) don't actually have any available (not even in seats)! :)

standing tickets are still on sale on www.gigsandtours.com
They still have a few seats left this morning as do NME's website. I'm going on my lonesome travelling from Liverpool (where I'm working) so any company or a spare standing singles (I'm in the stalls) would be greatfully appreciated. please let me know.
Cheers Brummie Mark
Mark - just keep your eye on here to see where the venue for the meet-up is decided. You'll have more company than you'll need (and probably some you won't want as well!)
What's that pub called on Charles St? Joshua Brookes?
It's right opposite the Factory Office (now Paradise Factory) and it's plenty big enough for us all. It's also handy if any of the out-of-towners want to mount a pilgrimage to the former Hacienda and other Witworth St Haunts, or a jaunt to the other pubs down Charles St (Lass O'Gowrie for Real-Alers, Cro 2 on Oxford Road for a posh lager and nice food. Charles St/Oxford Rd is a bit closer for busses/taxis when it gets time to advance to the Apollo.
So, I propose 12.00 in Joshua Brookes!

circus tavern?
that would be so funny trying to all fit in there.
actually we could then pop over to fab cafe and give the darlek in there a good kicking ![]()
yeah probably couldn't even fit Al Jarvis in there, nevermind anyone else. That Dalek's got it coming
sugarcane wrote: I'm a big fan of The Sinc, but that could get a bit messy surely? i never thought I wouls hear myself say this but the beer might be TOO cheap. One advantage though, won't be packed as usual cos its a monday. I finish work at about three, should be about five minutes rolling distance from whereever the final meet up place is (assuming you stick to the city centre that is)
too cheap? how's that work?

Thanks Doc I'll do that. Have chatted on the phone to ShugZ before and to Al and Rocket about footie on here (just watched the Villa lose to Wigan
)so kind of know a few of you. Can't wait :D
I'd have a bit of that unofficial NO afterparty at The Brickhouse on Whitworth Street,if it wasn't for the fact i'm in work next morning.I can feel a siccy coming on! Tickets are about £5/6.There's a link on one of the threads I've seen on here!
Up until now i'm going to this. I've got a couple of standing tickets but it's going to depend on whether I can get the time off work.

I can hardly fit in there myself, Al, so you can't get too offended
Low ceilinged and probably the smallest bar in Manchester (yes smaller than the temple of convenience)

I'm in! - Thanks to DoN for the spare ticket (and Ryanair) I will be flying in on the day with Clock (who looks like he will be getting a spare ticket from sweetness?).
Looking forward to meeting everyone (& being too drunk to remember anyone
) - there's got to be a few of you guys who I owe a drink. . . .

I'm investigating.... ;)

I'd like to thank GaryMac and Shug for the original information on this gig ending up on this site.......and of the course the itself and everyone who contributes all this good good info. I'm on an oil rig off the west coast of Australia currently, and oil rigs aren't the easiest places to find out whats going on in the world never mind NO gigs. After my daily visit to this site I called my wife who secured my ticket the very next day.
I've been visiting this site and it's predecessors for years now, but never really posted much or attended any of the pre-gig meet ups. Hopefully i'll see some of you before this gig and thank you personally.
I know that this is the whole point of this site but Cheers anyway..............
