Posted this in the DR forum, but just in case anyone misses that, it's a thread on it's own here! :)

The Brickhouse, btw, is in Whitworth Street - between Oxford Road station and GMEX.

Link is here for tickets - more beer!!

I'm fancying this but is it really necessary to buy a ticket in advance? Chances are I'll be pissed by midnight and will stagger into any late drinking venue that will admit me, so shelling out on an advance brief might be a waste of my 'hard-earned'. Do you reckon this will sell out? (I've never been to the Brickhouse, obviously, so have no idea how popular this Monday night event is likely to be).

Well, I've bought tickets just in case, but I doubt whether it'll sell out! Dunno how big the Brickhouse is?

Brickhouse is tiny, but I still cant see it selling out.

Manchester aint like London, it's a ghost town Monday night.

I like it in there, and I'm sure a large contingent of Noolers will sway a playlist consisting of the odd NO track!!:thumb:

I clicked on the above link & it says that it has been cancelled, has anyone got any idea what has happened ?

Cheers, Matty.

Yup, it's been cancelled - got a phone call yesterday afternoon. If you've got tickets, then return them to Piccadilly Box Office or take them into the EasyInternet cafe in Manchester (which is what I'll be doing, as I'll be there on Saturday)! :)

No idea why, though - probably poor ticket sales?

Doubt that, somehow - surely they'd be expecting walk-ups on the night as the main source of income...??? It's not as if New Order fans need an excuse to keep on keepin' on....
