Yeah, fair play fella - must admit that at first I thought it was one of the regulars posting incognito. I really cannot afford this.....but if I hadn't quit me poxy job then I wouldn't be making either the Apollo or Brixton. So every cloud and all that!!

I'm hoping there's another gig or gigs in the works; whether or not I'll go depends on the finances. But then I might as well push the boat out a bit, won't be too long before I'll be sat in fookin' freezing Michigan again...

Gonna take my camera phone but that could get bashed as well.
I am gutted , booked the monday Aft and Tuesday all day for the Manc Gig and thats hols all gone. Would look a bit suspicious coming over all sick a couple of days before a hol. Bugger, bugger (repeat to fade)

I wouldn't advise taking too much into the gigs - the ticket site for the venue says that because of the 'current security situation' please do not bring bags, etc. Any bags brought in will be thoroughly searched and 'inappropriate items' confiscated.
If you want to bring a camera, make it a disposable one and get right up at the front...

Trouble is, disposables don't have the magical mystical extending lens that Hibster's camera has which allows him to take such ceaselessly great shots. He's doing kevin Cummins job now - I think the band and their management should be paying him, personally.....when NO knock it on the head, it's going to be people like Hibster (and Nic's website) who are keeping a unique visual record of their last hurrah. And we should all be grateful.

the main problem being if i don't go to work I don't get paid and that week is the week I have to pay my school fees 
and my boss would know instantly why i skived off, even if i did the best faked illness ever, cos he knows about my new order habit.
however, I've got the apollo to console myself with.

Completely agree - just reporting what I've seen on the 'official' sites though. A 'heads up' just in case anyone finds that they get refused admission or whatever.
There was a shooting there earlier this year mid gig so I would imagine that ssecurity will be tight. Any journos here with a chance of getting a press pass?

I have no idea why, when I checked for Manchester on the 14, it was costing 2000$ of plane tickets.
Today I try with Expedia once again, adding London, and it would cost 857,94 $C !
That is flight from Montreal to London, then to Manchester and then back to Montreal.
Seems almost affordable... someone can dream, isn't it? ;)

Not in Quebec, that's for sure.
I've seen people pitching coins to people in front of them in TORONTO at a Cure show, because people we up and dancing... that was a disgrace.
I don't remember a gig where I was seated actually, although I must say it's useful to take a break sometime when you have an injured knee, fortunatly NO's gig aren't 2h+ so I can handle them

I got mine via Stargreen Box Office (London) for £39.50 each.
