So with a gig in Manchester and now a gig in London, how about coming to little ol' Birmingham for a gig?
pretty please???![]()

Personally, I want them to come and play in Stoke, but I can't have everything! ![]()
Where do you suggest in Brum?
Why not go to one of the other gigs? You can get national express back to brum after the gig, and the both depots in manchester and london (apparently) are not fair from the gig venues.
If we can travel from London to Manchester and vice versa, then I'm sure you can make it from Brum to either one or the other. Ideal situation really - you have an easier choice!
I would as well, but one small slight problem...I have no holiday left at work and just woudln't have the time during rush hour to make it after work!
I would suggest, the academy for a small intimate gig or the NIA for location to local bars or the NEC for better parking, both big venues though...

Fair point. The NIA has a far better sound quality than the NEC (plus, it's right in the centre of Brum). Can't really get anymore central than that! The Academy is a great venue too.
they should play the Tower Ballroom again of course!!! (if it'still there?)

Plastic palm trees an all!!!
Sort out your fookin town first.
I have a comedy vision of the "Johnson Boys" and "Burger Bar Boys" teaming up saying.... (in that voice)
WE WANNA BE TOGETHER.
my best friend in years 11 and 12 came, and fellow new order fan came from Birmingham. we went and saw the order together in 87. He intruduced me to english indi music. His mother after 40 years in oz will never loose her accent. his brother opended a restaurant here in canberra called the BrumBalti. I've only recently started catching up with him again.
There's nothing wrong with the M6 - it's the best car park in the Midlands. And if they do (well, its a big if) play up here in the hole that we call Brum, I will be going and I don't care if I get the sack! I could do with a break - all this travelling round the country is tiring me out..........

hey ronnie, do they still have those Supermarkets in Canberra? you know the ones mate. the ones that don't sell food.
Happy Mondays are playing Birmingham Academy tomorrow, though. So there's a consolation.
Yes I will be there. Now, to wear my Use Hearing Protection shirt, or my Durutti Column one?
