Be part of the star studded audience and sit with legends of British rock as they are inductees into Channel 4's UK Music Hall of Fame. Pink Floyd, John Peel and Bob Dylan. Guitar hero Jimi Hendrix - are some of the names being inducted and performing at this year's spectacular ceremony.

The Line up includes

John Peel (Performance Buzzcocks, Peter Hook, Datsuns, El Presidente and The Soledad Brothers - Damon Albarn Inducting him)

Bob Dylan (Alanis Morrisette confirmed for tribute performance)

Pink Floyd (attending but not performing)

The Kinks (attending but not performing. Pretenders performing Tribute)

Jimi Hendrix (Tribute Performance supergroup including Slash)

So, who's going to this? 80 quid is a lot cheaper than 450 quid, even if it's only a couple of tunes...

Ally Pally is not that far away from me (at least it's on the same railway line!)...

Tempted, but it's still pricey, although could be persuaded if anyone else is making it! :)

I would have gone if it was their only appearance, but I'm stretching the finances as it is.

Went to their Alexandra Palace New Year gig with an ex, before I met Tricia - I remember the awful bus journey home, some orange-jump-suited-grey-haired-vegetarian-lesbian puking lentils all over the floor of the bus and half the passengers too - her girlfriend was in a pretty bad way as well.

For just a couple of songs, I think I'll watch the TV coverage if any...

Shame. If I win the lottery, I'll pay for all NOOLers to go to a special gig just for us. Would that be cool? :shades:

Karen did ask me last night if I wanted a ticket for this as an early Christmas present. Much as I like seeing tribute bands, this ain't my bag really. Forty quid a song equates roughly to four times as good value as Werchter was!

Looks like ill be paying a midweek visit up to London Village,

Ive got to be in work at 9am on Thursday in Southampton.

There is a train at 23:39 or 01:05 from Waterloo.

If I get the 01:05 chances are I will end up falling a sleep and waking up in Exeter.

Al, your probably best placed to answer this.

How how long you reckon the tube Journey is from Ally Pally to Waterloo. What time is last tube ?

The other option is to Drive, Ill defo get there some how.
