Thanks to bopping down the front during True Faith, i am now the proud owner of a Grade 2 sprained lateral talo-fibular ligament. This is causing me great pain, and hindering my abilty to walk.

Bugger!

It couldn't have been you I thumped (twice) then? I never did take to being elbowed in the jaw and being pulled at to move, so I think it was fair, all things considered. I wonder how the eye looks though?..... oh, well, he thought he was a man, so he must have took it like one, cos he didn't do it again after that.

Bugger!

My foot is really swolen and sore since the gig. I couldnt hear anything for the best part of a day either.

I really badly twisted it on the 4th song and had to pull back from the lively section of the crowd after that. Dont think that the flight did it any good either.

Great gig though.

I had to retreat after a couple of songs, but only JUST back out of the tide of mentalists, me pogo-ing muscles have wasted since The Orb in Dublin last year. Then, the minute that mad bitch on the console (half way thru crystal I think), decided "oh deary me, that nice Peter's bass is a little quiet, and the mix in general seems a touch light on it's feet"...My stomach said "Right fucko, you've had your lot for tonight, I am not having any more of this shit, you banged me full of painkilers, you aint fed me in 7 hours, AND you chucked beer into me....but I draw the line at you exposing me to what is clearly a serious techtonic disaster" ..I BELTED out to the side, said "Hi Dr, the flag will show up, who the fuck would do that man....or want it, other than you, Sam and a coupla others", then projectile vom'd a small quantity of yellowish foam, made it up back, same again, and ended up in hot and cold flushes out by the T-shirts". Not good, see my full gig report, when it comes, for the rest. BUT I improved enough to come back in for the end of temptation onwards.

That stinks!

Looked like there was quite the pile up in front of Barney. I thought I was going to get absolutely killed at this one (still have bruises from LWTUA in Brixton) so I grabbed the barrier with both arms but hardly even got shoved. Kind of strange actually, must have been luck I guess!

I've a few bruises of my own and some soreness, although the latter is partially due to a virus I have at the moment.

You jammy bi'atch :)

Were you perchance the lass who was sittin wit me and the BogHopperOrder in JB's, if so, I'm SO sorry I wasn't more social, I reckon we sort of eyed each other supiciously, then eventually introduced ourselves, but by that time I was going into a sort of pre-gig haze (not to mention trying(and failing) to second guess my own metabolism). That and the fact that men dressed like flashers have a tendancy to upset some girls??????

Can't wait for it bro.

Yep that was me, Steve!

Hope I wasn't looking at you cross eyed (didn't notice the flasher wear till later  ), just that the people I was meeting popped out as I arrived and I was feeling a bit like the new kid at school! Wasn't sure if I should sit quietly and wait or start introducing myself around. Glad to have met you though, you seemed cool (even without 'hate' on your jacket)!

LOL, after the initial onslaught of my aparrent "fanclub" (other sites ban you for raving like I do, here they give you a fucking medal), I was in exactly the same frame of mind, I probably wouldn't have said a word to anyone if the Dublin Order hadn't been doing the Cross Border relations thing :)

The Coat: My ma's a community nurse, she comes home with this coat and says "Mrs so and so's husband bought this and "he" doesn't like it, she asked if I knew anyone, I guessed you;d like it". All my mates refuse to be seen in public with it. The only reason I didn't have HATE on it was that I thoguht someone could take exception to it, like I was "going as Ian" or just taking the piss. But since I've got nowt but abuse for not doing it, and not just from you, I guess I'll have to next time, and there WILL be a next time. Maybe for Hooky at Lavery's next week :)

I think I rather have the bruised ligament to what a mate of mine got.He only went for a piss, and some bird threw up all over him.He stuck around for the encore till he started to hum!!:spit:

It is kind of an odd situation to be in, isn't it? Everyone I met was great though, I must say!

Maybe you could get Hooky to daub 'hate' on the back of the coat for you, sort of an autograph! :shades:

Though be careful or you'll end up with 'wanker' or something instead!

Laim, sorry you're sore - glad you weren't as bad as you thought.

Steve - I don't think I met you, but I hear you're the man.

Sweetness, you're about 1000% spot on with that assessment I fear :)

BIGINOIL, I was "da man" for about 8 minutes before the journey caught up with me, then a was briefly myself again when NO came on, before begining a steady slide towards becoming "Da puddle".

Hands Up! Sorry about that Ashley. We had just about got ourselves together to get food the time you arrived. I hadnt eaten since 8am and it was late. Hungry as a wolf.

It was really great to see the Old Factory HQ.

It shouldn't matter Liam, you have two degrees, remember!! Walking is not important, as long as you can down that lager

Yeah, I've heard he has two degrees and we shouldn't forget it, pal.

I have one more degree than Liam. Does this mean I have a bigger willy?
