Went to the Apollo the other night, great time pity it was a Monday though. The show was in rememberence of a freind of the band. Anyone know who it was? I was also disgusted when somebody threw a beer can at the compere, first time I witnessed that at a New Order gig.

1/He dedicated Ceremony (or was it Love Vig?) in memory of Phil Grubb, who passed away from cancer in the summer, and said everyone was thinking of him, especially his brother Darren, who was with us. Nice touch from Hooky, what a diamond.

If you see the Vikings badge in my avatar the Blue Monday colour codes round the side stand for P.G. - Phil's initials.

Of course, in true New Order stylee they did initially put RIP PHIL CHUBB across the speakers, but that got changed before the band came on!

2/Uncle Liam – cheers for the pint of lager which you slopped over everyone at the front – I think it was a cunning plan to get us to move.

You could have happily drowned the drunken little shite next to me and I'd have paid you too! (never mind getting a bit damp!) Had to have a massage tonight, I'm too old for this........ I'll definitely have a seat next time - mind you, by then, I'll probably have a bus pass.....
