A lot of 'technical' problems at this gig. Not one of their better performances. Although I didn't notice any of this till it was pointed out afterwards. Down the front, taking the piss out of Pete Doherty look alikes aint the best place to judge a gig.
I did hear that Wireless was the biggest UK crowd, with them headlining, that they'd ever played. Piss poor weather might have kept a few punters away. My new timberlands got well and truly christened!.
Comparing the two boots, Glasto (the following day) was by far the better performance IMO.
Right up to the appearance of fuckin 'orse, anyway!

Hi i went to wireless this year and hearin it on the tv after i thought the sound was great apart from barny messin up the lyrics. But wen i listen to the glastonbury gig it dont sound to gd you can hardly hear hes vocals
C'mon, it was the first night of a brand new festival.
Note like there isn't any other festival in England, but damn it, doing it at the same time as Glastonbury isn't the idea of the year.
