Any ideas anyone?
'Moon Under The Water' is close, cheap & big.
Or a more intimate venue perhaps?

Do you think when we decide where to meet we should give the pub warning, remember Hyde Park, they didn't know what had hit them. ![]()
Where is everyone staying for this?

That sounds suspiciously like a Wetherspoons. ![]()
Moon under - large, but full or rabble, it is cheap however.
I live in manchester and I can't think of a venue that fills all the requirements - which is cheap booze and somewhere that wont get freaked out by a shedload of hard core fans.
I'm in.

No, because it is ny understanding that Joshua brooks found out we were all descending on there and bumped the prices up big time.
All sounds good to me. Think we should be out early, knocking on the doors at 10.59 am! Bring it on!
Is it FA cup 4th round day on the 28th?
It could be quit busy if City or Utd r at home but im up for it anyway. Pity about Oxford Utd a Shaun ![]()

Unfortunately yes, but plenty of space. Depending on FA fixtures it may get a little rowdy, nothing a seasoned Viking like yourself cant handle ![]()

If this is the pub just down the hill and over the bridge from the MENA - The Corby Order wil see you all for a shandy or two.

Me too - he's no tight arse.
Won't the pub nearest the venue be rammed? Though I do recall being in somewhere not a hop, skip and a jump away pre-MEN '98 and it was absolutely deserted.....

Surely that would be the gig itself?
isnt the sawyers arms on deansgate? just a bit down from the moon under, might not be as packed. but it is a well known venue, so it might not make a lot of difference.

Blocks to that. There's too much democracy round here as it is. We are drinking in the Old Monkey this time.

:raises eyebrow:
If pubs can now open when they like, is there a non-clubbing aftershow drink going on?
