Blocks to that. There's too much democracy round here as it is. We are drinking in the Old Monkey this time.

Good shout.. they sell 'Crystal' lager on draft too. I can hear the singalong already.

If pubs can now open when they like, is there a non-clubbing aftershow drink going on?

Yeh, an after gig boozer should be sorted out first, prioritize booze :D

I don't care where it is - I just want to make sure I don't end up staying overnight in a dive again!

Is alcohol all you think about. How are you going to manage a nice breakfast in a luxury hotel with a hangover young man??:nono:

The Gardens! (But as I have said since, I ended up in the potting shed!); no way - hotels are pretty average usually; this was dire! I have no shame this time - I am staying somewhere half decent and the Company WILL pay - after all, I have urgent business to do.......

o geez that little door hole near wetherspoons in piccadilly  ibis portland street is fine 50 odd quid. :thumb:

I stayed in the Gardens. Thought it was alright. Late bar, bed, shower - what more could you want?

The telly in the room was mounted a bit high though...

£55 squid in the MEN Premier Travel Inn, hopefully not too far from any post-gig shenanigans :D

Which pub are we going to then?

I don't know my way around there at all. You can get drink at the Printworks, but there are no proper pubs in there - just restaurants and Hard Rock Cafe?

We could just descend on Joshua's again, but it's miles from the Arena.

I'm not helping, am I?

i think The Corby Order will be driving up and then straight back for this gig, going to try and make it to the pub before hand for a while first..

must admit Joshua's was good last time, and we could always stop in the Old Monkey on the way to the gig to please the Old Monkey.

If the weather is ok  there is always Shambles Square for some outdoor boozing, right near the MEN

Printworks :nono: NO fans are fair to cool for theme pubs... the theme being 'bar full of knobs'

I'd be happy with Joshua Brooks. Everyone knows where it is and it's easy to get to from all the bus and train stations (apart from Victoria). So who knows how to get from Oxford Road to the MEN? Busses? I bet there's a tram from Picadilly. We could call in at the OM on the way (if we must :evil4:)

Strange that's where Rocket and Shug insisted we met them before Pogues last year. Think Mick wanted to watch his wanky team in a bar full of tellies.....and Shug was late. :)

Joshua's was a fine place last time and German Order will find it next year:nod: A strong walk about 15, maybe 20 minutes you are at GMEX, i think! OK, after Joshua's, it's maybe 30 Minutes.

Joshua's early doors then?

We can always move on
