when on holiday with my mates as a young man in spain around 1982 i pulled a massive poster off a board. was - --'new order-barcelona ampitheatre '.was that week,i asked how to get there but didnt understand them.anyway took it home and put it on my wall for years...fuck knows what i did with that poster.damn

hmmmm true. ok the wine brain now clear. i have a fac 51 flyer for the opening free gig 26 june 82 (wasnt that the tony wilson w..ker power failure and hooky bashing out i a l place on big gong?) but having retrieved poster from wardrobe, it's 26 jan therefore 83

Ive got the Studio 54 Barcelona poster from 84 and a couple of the Low Life ones from 85/6 and thats about it.

I managed to blag one of those tour passes off Rob Gretton at the hull gig, I was stood next to soundboard when he leant over and asked for a light, he was holding the biggest spliff I'd ever seen! He was decent bloke gave me a few puffs on said spliff took my address then sent me a load of stuff when the tour finished, backsatge passes and flyers and stuff. He also reckoned the reason they sounded so shite on the radio1/bbc2 simultaneous broadcast was cos they never did a soundcheck they went and got pissed instead :) I would love to hear a tape of that Hull City Hall gig I seem to remember barney getting a shit load of abuse when he took his tshirt off and him giving a shitload back to the crowd :) My mind was a wee bit fuzzy after the stregnth of grettons weed :) I was only a lad at the time :)
