Managed to get out to it with the missus. Pretty packed early on, but started emptying out by the time Hooky came on (around midnight) after the opening bands played. He seemed in good spirits nevertheless, played some New Order and Joy Division remixes, some that I knew and others that I didn't. Only the rowdy few stuck it out to the end. Truth be told, you didn't miss much, just Hooky playing some odd music and miming along like he was actually mixing things (for example, turning some knobs to make it seem like he was making some of the little sound effects on that Crystal Method remix of BLT). Lots of hipsters and other trash there, not to mention people who thought they could crowd surf in an unpacked club (typical Seattle mentality). I was bored some of the time, and of course the "crowd" (if I can call it that) didn't know much else beside the predictable big 3 NO songs and 3 JD songs. Still it was a decent night out for the sake of being able to climb onstage and mumble something unintelligable to Hooky for a second.
We're really sorry about your hurt foot and hope it gets better soon. When we didn't see you there, we figured there was either some emergency or that maybe you were hanging out behind the scenes somewhere. Let me know when you're feeling better and we'll all have to go out sometime.
