28th News Update

Just received this on email;

New acts, new start time!
Yes, we're giving you almost two more hours for your money so that we can fit everyone in.

So doors now open at 5.30pm and the music starts straight away. The event finishes no later than 11.30pm.

New additions to the party are Bez's band Domino Bones and they've promised to bring along Shaun Ryder. We've also got the superb Nine Black Alps. And the music won't stop thanks to DJ's like Mr Scruff playing between bands.

That means in just a few hours you will see the following legends: New Order, Doves, Badly Drawn Boy, Johnny Marr & The Healers, Andy Rourke, Nine Black Alps, Stephen Fretwell, 808 State featuring MC Tunes, Bez and Domino Bones featuring Shaun Ryder, Utah Saints, Mani, Mr Scruff and more!

This is the biggest party Manchester has ever seen, there'll be collaborations, covers and a few surprises.

Loads of time for drinking with all the other shite on

for a second there i though medical history was referring to the antics of some of the bands there!

Well that's just about balled it up for me. I can't watch the Widnes Vikings friendly in the Afternoon. The end time means I can't get public transport back and I'll have to drive screwing the chances of a few pints.

Then again, I'm sure others have more tracel problems than me.
