almost a blog this -- ace night. thanks stalybrigde order for coming. outside a german lad was waiting at the door. he just looked at us and then said " excuse me,i am 5 day manchester holiday german and i saw new order poster in window and came tonight alone to see if can have good order time " what a good lad,joy division t shirt and all.we looked after him very well
miss jemmy danced like the nutter she is,what a friendly girl,cambo gave it a try 
kershaw is sound.liam was fucked but still had many drinks of course
monty was has entertaining as usual 
i got pissed early in the day because i had to catch bus home half way though the disco
monty's other half julie is very ace and really really fit.
but why not more there ? god only knows.maybe not many new order followers in manchester area

And to Vik D and the rest of Serotonin,hop you enjoy the rest of your stay.Why don't you get down to Castlefield,at the end of Deansgte.There's some good bars by the canals.The whole area there's got Roman connections. Also half hour's walk down Liverpool Road to Regent Road,there's the Salford Lads Club where The Smiths had their Queen Is Dead photoshoot! Or going up from Castlefield past the Deansgate Locks, you'll pass the old Hacienda building,,well it's now the Hacienda flats! I'm hoping you'll be reading any posts while you're here that is,if not have a safe journey home lads!

Such a night after such a day. Much respect to Kershaw, a true scouser, but not an inch of a scally ;) And the Bansheeman who went from coherent to fucking twatted in less time than I thought possible. A proper nice chap. Liam as ever, face to face, is a proper gent, and has my admiration for his (albeit misguided) Morrisey tour crusade.
Monty can play at my wedding anyday (LOL, don't be holding your breath tho), loved the Ian Curtis shirt and tie look, next time I'll bring the coat to set it off nicely. Top tunes, well placed. It's possibly the first time in my life I've not bugged the fuck out of the DJ for New Order, OR geeked out at the equipment.....but I was warned long ago that I would be potentially at the mercy of strange forces on this trip. Sorry I didn't talk to you more man, but I was twatted.
The German geezer was most welcome and quite a surprise.
But not as much of a sueprise as Girl Afraid, who is possibly some kind of atomic powered groovebot. What a nice lass, at least, until you badmouth Mozzer...I have the bruises to back that up. Brilliantly "up" chick, I was werecked (I'll get to that) and she really was NOT taking no for an answer (I mean dancing you filthy bastards), in fact the only person who danced more and did more to bother anyone who wasn't was...
THE 'ORRICH 'OOLIGAN herself. Never in all my years of gigs and parties have I seen anyone quite so utterly up for dancing her arse off, and clobbering any poor bastard who dared not to. One os the nicest, friendliest people it's ever been my pleasure to meet, a true lady (until about the fifth red wine, then she's more sort of a cross between a squaddie and Taz ;) ). Could say nice stuff about her all night, but wont. I'll leave it at saying that I've NEVER had so much fun on a night out with a lass in my entire life...INCLUDING the ones that involved a quest for knicker removal (which, since I KNOW some of you smutty sods must be thinking it, this was not, she's my mate, and I like it that way :D )
gotta say tho....novel experience walking out of a disco flanked by unquestionably the two prettiest chicks in the place :D:D:D:D:D:D
For my own part...I was in BLIND terror of a repeat of my apollo nightmare and being VERY wary of how much I drank. I was hardly sober or a total ponce but, frankly I think if it had been a NO gig, I'd have been asked to remove any viking badges I had on me :( I was glad at the end of the night tho, cos if I'd been as bangled as Jem, I THINK I might have ended up sleeping in GirlAfraid's bath or something, which would have been bad cos I was running on almost no sleep.
Great night, and surrounding few days. it cost me my last money in the world, really...and I do not give a flying monkey's bollox cos it was worth it.

Had a brilliant night, got into Manchester about 3 then drank straight through. Cambo turned out to be a great drinking partner in crime. Had great day with Banshee, tried to kidnap Liam then nearly walked past Kershy on route. You're all brilliant, ah love you me i do!
Girl Afraid was my dancing buddy all night, she's a superstar (very good looking too boys!) Me and Steve very nearly killed a taxi driver who tried charging us £50 to Bolton.
I've never danced as much in my life, i went mental. Thank god i decided to wear trainers. It might not have been full, but everyone was up for it. I was in awe at the German lad turning up on his own with a rucksack! He is now the owner of a Barney's Angels badge.
I have 7 large bruises all over my body - result!
When's the next one?
