Taping the gig

We're in the lucky position that over the years New Order concerts have been thoroughly well documented - with one or five glaring omissions - in this respect New Order are like a development of the Grateful Dead, who always allowed fans to get out their tape recorders. Rob Gretton had a great take on this. Nowadays I guess with all the security screening it's not quite so easy.

Audience tapes vs. mixing desk. the practice of taping it - for example - my copy of 'Brixton Ace' has the guy right next to me, shouting "dogshit on my boots...".

Oh dear I thought at the time! Saw some mention in a thread a while back that there might be a separate form for all this but I don't know where.

Yes, with somebody shouting "AGE OF FOOKIN CONSENT" throughout the gig. Wonder who that guy was. he had a very strong Stoke accent.

Does it have someone (not Barney) shouting "COOOOOMMMMEEEE ONNNNN!" during "Love Will Tear Us Apart", or some crap singing? :smoking:

It's true!! I conner speak proper like Sam!! My shirt will be loud, but I'm skint and have made an executive/long-overdue decision to quit booze (for a while, at least, or until the shakes kick in REALLY HARD), so will be facing the daunting reality of sobriety at a New Order gig for the first time ever.

Will be shouting something along the lines of "£50 for 20 minutes? You get a hooker in Stoke for a full month's residency in Stoke fer that". Not very snappy, I know....

If you'd announced this sooner they could have halved their security bill for the night!
