I had high hopes for a small US tour this summer, but the likelyhood seems to be getting smaller and smaller. They have not played a proper show in Los Angeles since 93. Yes they play "Area One" In Devore" and Cochella somewhere in California, but those were both huge festivals where New Order fans were,,,, outnumbered.
LA seems like such a strong fan base.

Still hoping they will do a show, on their own............

Not sure what they will be doing in terms of live shows to be honest, can't see a lot happening this summer. Maybe later in the year they will get out on the road/in the air again. Wouldn't rule anything out!

But wouldnt rule anything in at the same time... apart from the Electric Picnic (and Greece if its confirmed)

Beggars can't be choosers. I hope you caught them last year, just in case.

To be fair they did two shows in California last summer, regardless of how far from LA they were.

Not expecting anything this year.

I took the plan to Chicago and New York City to see them... so no more excuse... if they don't visit you, visit them!

And yes, they did 2 shows in California in 2005, and 2 in 2001.. how much more do you need? Last show in Montreal was in 1989... Toronto in 1993!

Don't rule anything out.

Ah that's good news considering from who it's coming ;)

That's giving people hope though, surely?!

Suffice to say, they're almost certainly not playing the US again. Not this year at any rate.

I certainly went to see New Order in Oakland last year. I'm just surprised they have not played Los Angeles on their own since 1993. Seeing New Order or any band at a festival is way different than seeing them at their own show. The people, the atmosphere, the situation, everything is different.
