New Order live @ Summercase Festival, Madrid & Barcelona - July 14/15

I was looking at the summercase site earlier on and they have updated the info section. It looks like they will be selling 1 day tickets as they mention them in the 'we slap a wristband on your arm and make you buy tickets for beer & food' section... not seen any mention of them anywhere else.. I suspect they will do what they used to do at Reading and sell a few 1 day tickets at the last minute...

assuming we all make it from Madrid ( despite a possible pilot strike on Iberia ) I suggest somewhere near Placa Saint Jaume - which is just to the right of the Ramblas and bang on the metro which heads out to the festival - spoilt for choice with decent bars - anyone been to the Elevator bar?
Timetable now up on Summercase site.
It is a bit bizzare. NO on same time as the Mondays and primal scream.
NO get the 11:00 a clock slot but are followed by KEAN.

Whoever was in charge of that scheduling ought to be shot...
So, we basically have the option of seeing the Dandy Warhols and Divine Comedy (not fussed on either of these), and The Chemical Brothers' DJ set after New Order...
Hmmm... The bar sounds like a fine idea before New Order arrive on stage!

Somewhere near the Ramblas sounds good. How about the Temple Bar just off the Ramblas ?

Very much looking forward to having a beer with our former poster.
Of course, it'll all have to be done away from the CCTV with our baseball caps pulled low and collars pulled high. ![]()
I'll be wearing my Red Star Belgrade cap ![]()
(So I'll be the one covered in broken bottles and phlegm)
I'm in Barcelona from tomorrow until Wednesday.
Massive Attack 2am on Sat is an ambition rather than a plan ![]()
I'll spend the rest of the time trying to find the idiota that put the Mondays and Primal Scream on at the same time as NO ![]()
I mean, it's not as if fans of any of those bands would be interested in seeing any of the others.
Current forecast for Madrid/Barcelona:
Madrid: 36-38 degrees C Barcelona: 32 degrees C

Not that far off what London has reached over the past month ![]()
I'll be checking into the hotel in Barca probably around 10pm on Friday night. I'm at the Hotel Covadonga so if anyone's around for a beer then let me know. Already spoken to Mr Come Lately (ooh) and he'll be around for a few (then a few more).
Should be a larf ![]()
im in barca from 4 pm on friday, if anyone is looking for company or is very bored then give me a call, mind you i doubt i will be able to cheer you up in anyway 07932929166
probably be at the venue 11pm-ish on Friday. Wouldnt mind seeing Daft Punk & Massive Attack.
That square off the Ramblas is good for a meet up. About a third of the way up on the right if you walk up from the Sea end, cant miss it. Think its Placa Reial.
im in the barcelona princess which if im not mistaken is right next to the venue(at least i hope it is, my spanish map reading isnt too good)
I'll be in Madrid in the Hotel Praga today for 1 night and in Barcelona in the Hotel Travessera near Parc Güell saturday until monday.
