OK, still 40 days to go to eject festival on June the 3rd :) . Whoever might still be interested on attenending the gig, this is the place to meet other NOOL members, hopefully arrange some meet-up and get some help by the locals for anything that some might need (tickets, flights, hotels, anything at all).

Cant' wait for that!

Great idea :thumb: I'm planning on flying in early Friday morning, staying in Glyfada, spending a bit of good time by the beach on the Friday with a pile of Mythos bottles and a smile, and flying back on the Sunday morning. Would really appreciate some advice on the best hotels (cheap but functional) near to the venue, and how to get from the airport to Glyfada. I'm not really looking to go into central Athens (unless everyone else is on the Friday or during the Saturday), I will spend too much money in the streets of Plaka and bore everyone silly with my historical lectures on the Acropolis!

For this trip, it would be nice to see something else of Attica rather than the touristy bits of central Athens. Will be delighted to just spend some time with the locals and chill out :)

Hello Tim!

I was about to email u for more details, but im not sure ure email address is still valid, cos mine isn't anymore. My new address is .eliasmelissas04@yahoo.com, u can email me to arrange things if u like, im especially interested in that historical lectures stuff, would be great to have someone else with me doing that, while hanging out in the city  .

In the meantime, i will try to give u guys some links about hotels in athens: http://http://www.greekhotel.com/athens/

http://www.bookings.gr/city/gr/athens.en.html?aid=303626;label=athens-gr

The second link, aslo has a google earth map with all hotels. Bare in mind that hotels around the festival area (such regions are Vouliagmeni, Voula, Glyfada, Kalamaki or Alimos, Elliniko, Argyroupoli) are usually cheaper than the ones in the centre of the city, but i wouldnt rule out the centre or other areas so easilly, since, as ure saying, ure gonna stay for a couple of days, and there are gonna be ppl there having cars, who also like getting around

As for how to get to/from the airport, i will give full details as long as u have decided where to stay, because it will mostly depend on that.

I will be away for a couple of days, i will reply to u and everybody else interested on tuesday or friday !

Thought I'd better bring this one back up top - may help you Glas Vegas! Haven't found much about internal flights yet I must admit.

OK guys, time to reveal who is gonna be at the Athens gig, where you are all staying, and where we are all going on the piss!

We'll be relying on the Athenian Order (or should we call you the Delian League?) to show us the best places for a few scoops. Mythos encouraged, but you just know we are all gonna get shitfaced on Ouzo. Well I am anyway.

I'll be there, and staying in the same hotel as you, Tim! :)
