Found out tonight my usual venue can't take my night on for a Friday for the forseeable future,because the pub's losing money. THE QUESTION IS.....would you go to one in the week,or would it have to be a weekend? Had already considered doing a general INDIE night on a Tuesday night,generally a lot of students out then. But really wanted the same kind of coverage as a Smiths night.

Can only really be arsed with gigs on weeknights now.

I'm going to have to find another suitable venue in town,otherwise I'll have to do a weekday.

The only way I can do a week day is if you move it to Aberdeen.

Is that something you've considered?

Had considered going furthur a-field.I could do with a promoter really.So far I've done my own leg work advertising my gig,but avoided the route of flyposting to avoid either 1) being fined up to £1000 2)being kneecapped. If anyone knows of a venue near you,you would like to stage either a New Order night or a general INDIE night let me know folks.

I know people who'll promote the eff out of you in GM and Merseyside if you want to go out that far.

They worked on those nights that Retro Bar is doing downstairs and they are a friggin smash
