I've only seen New Order live once, on Moby's Area One tour in San Francisco during the summer of 2001 - and I've been a fan for over 20 years.
I think I'm going to attend the London gig, and am hoping a Manchester show will be announced during the same timeframe so I can attend that gig as well.
I need to do this before I get too old to be interested. ;)

Now that I found a way so my tickets won't cost more than what I did for Chicago/NYC, it gets interesting.
Now I have to work my wife into actually either doing it or let me do it... she's not the type who think it's a brillant idead to spend so much money with the idea of seeing 2 gigs.

No, the term "stage left" is very specific, it means left as you face the auditorium. The term exists specifically to avoid the kind of confusion you are describing. You will even OCCASSIONALY hear the term Audience right or auditorium right to descrive the same side of the stage.
