Has anyone found any webcast or streaming sites for the gig?

Have searched everywhere but cannae find fcuk all :nonono:

Good news from The Vikings over there though, they are ALL backstage now. There were only 5 of them at one stage, but according to Jarvo, Tim's been talking more Greek than usual and got the rest of them backstage as well

How do they manage to get backstage??

We have ways and means Jack.

Just had the funniest text message ever from Jarvo :

"Tim and Alex just gone off to interview Hooky for NOOL, but the man himself just wandered over to me and Mark in VIP wondering who's interviewing him"

Mark just phoned and said that the interview is now in session, Alex and Tim are conducting the interview and Wolfram is filming it! So I fear a NOOL EXCLUSIVE comig up :thumb:

if they wanted to debut something from their recent catalogue, they could (and should!) have worked up Primitive Notion. still think that would sound great live.

What's "Toothache?" is this an unreleased song from the WFTSC sessions?

True Faith

but it's as painful as toothache these days

Just say "True Faith" really fast and you will know.

So, the rumours were true then, TPK it is ;)

Good for you all.

For a minute I feared they removed WFTSC from the setlist, I checked it a second time. Phew.

I wish they would. The chorus comes in too soon after the verse to work in a live setting.

However, i don't like Bernard singing Joy Division songs.

But on the other hand, i love these songs, i love listening to them, and i liked that most people in the concert recognized them. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Still, I prefer them to play this one than guilt is a useless emotion...

What did it sound like this time around? Was it a faithful re-creation? I said on a post just a few weeks back that they should ignore that "Perfect Kiss"'s programming is complicated, make do with what means they have, and attempt the song, maybe even on guitar/bass/drums--so it's good to hear it's back. But then when they've done "Confusion," "True Faith," "Isolation," etc., it's sounded very little like the originals, so I'm wondering if they've done something different with this "Perfect Kiss."

Who programmed Barney's auto cue for the lyrics to Working Overtime and The Perfect Kiss?

Did Barney mention Shed's?

Pretty darn good setlist that. LWTUA to open was a surprise. Really glad they've kept 24 Hours in there, fooking classic song. Working Overtime wouldn't have been on the wish-list, but they certainly exceeded all expectations with TPK. :jawdrop: Bet no-one seen that coming.

Now give us AOC at Scouseland please. :thumb:

Pretty amazing setlist. TPK, 24 Hours, Ceremony, Turn, and Working Overtime all together. Fucking great! At least that should shut some of you buggers up about them not playing more of their back catalogue. But then again, give 'em an inch...

The setlists keep getting better and better. I'd love to see Shellshock make a return. And Touched By The Hand of God... and Liar.

Arg, I can only wish.

Fookinell! You'll have to excuse this post because it is 1pm here and we've only just gone to bed! We're all absolutely cunted, Stash left his guts all over the tram, free beer and tequila all night, no sign of Jarvo and Mark yet.

Me and Alex got an interview with Hooky and Sarge, some great banter and some really good answers to the questions most of you want to hear. Sound quality wasn't good though as it was blowing a gale and the wind sound obliterates a lot of the interview. I'll do a full transcript when the battery has recharged on the minidisc recorder! There are questions and answers about:

* the new album work * songwriting in general * Torn Apart (the truth about the pint of piss!) * Joy Division DVD * Bootlegs, Warsaw recordings and the famous Hooky Vault * DJ work * Yachts * Tanks * offspring posting on NOOL :evil4: * Freebass * E for England * Re: Order * Pernod, Asti Spumante and orange juice

half an hour of quality entertainment. Wolfram videoed it as well, not sure whether it will pass the bleep test though as both me and Alex were several beers the worst for wear!

Gig itself was a cracker, really lively audience and a great set. Perfect Kiss was about 6 mins long, same version as in the 93 gigs, it was segued into the start of Blue Monday rather than it being a medley. Working Overtime had a bit of a glitch!

I did record the gig as well, the first six songs anyway, but the microphone fell off my hat and it all got a bit messy. Very loud audience as well kept bloody talking!

Back out on the piss at 1.30 now!

Great great news about TPK once again, but I'm curious...was it actually live like the 1993 version (Steve and Phil actually on keys), or was it all tapes a la EGG from 05?

Twenty-Four Hours is a superb song. When was the last time they played that live?

Silly person here who thought it was Twenty-Four Hour Party People by the Mondays! Fuck sake! Go do your research before showing your ignorance! To know the Order you HAVE to know Joy Division first!

Sounds like a top setlist and even Working Overtime got an airing too. I take it it was the full-length version of TPK as well? It's the build-up with the cowbells and naff slapped bass that clinches it for me and the sublime bass synth part later on.

hmmm... not sure if one of those questions is one I wanted to hear asked. [gulp] but I'll look forward to hearing the rest. over time it seems that hooky (or the others) have skirted around answers or just been fed a greatest hits style interview, where lazy disinterested journalists compiling a history of whatever ask them the same old questions over again. at least this is a real fans compilation of subjects. tim and alex doing retro disc 2.... and all the more interesting for it. did the booze help though? I'll hope to see the unedited 18 certificate version - will we get the technicolour offering from stash too in the DVD extras?

24 Hours last played at the Mcr vs Cancer gig in January.

TPK was the 93 version, really short intro (missing the first 1min 52 secs or thereabouts) and no "when you are alone at night" bit. Still about 6 mins though, absolutely blinding to hear it again.

It was the edit. Literally, straight in with the vocals and also (I think?) dropped the 'land of meat' proto-rap.

Blue Monday overlapped it too.
