oh. lol. The set list is scanned in the ATHENS PICTURES thread. Amazing 24 Hours, Transmission. so glad that She's Lost Control was given a pass. WFTSC is getting better and better. And they make it all seem so easy. EDIT Can't wait to see and read the interview.

Silly person here who thought it was Twenty-Four Hour Party People by the Mondays! Fuck sake! Go do your research before showing your ignorance! To know the Order you HAVE to know Joy Division first!

Sounds like a top setlist and even Working Overtime got an airing too. I take it it was the full-length version of TPK as well? It's the build-up with the cowbells and naff slapped bass that clinches it for me and the sublime bass synth part later on.

24 Hours last played at the Mcr vs Cancer gig in January.

TPK was the 93 version, really short intro (missing the first 1min 52 secs or thereabouts) and no "when you are alone at night" bit. Still about 6 mins though, absolutely blinding to hear it again.

Did they have Dawn Zee with them or does show only appear at the UK shows ?

No Dawn Zee, or Phil or Steve. :evil4:

Well we didn't notice them anyway! Defo no Dawn.

I definitely saw both Phil & Steve! :p

Phil was also definitely playing synths during TPK :)

Yup, no Dawn or Alan Wise...

That looks pretty fucking impressive to me.

Shug,

Was it the edit live version of TPK played in 1993?

So would I, but don't fret...they only heard a tape, nothing live but barney and hooky...I think it's called Karaoke, and it's illegal to pass off as live in some states of the USA.

It was the edit. Literally, straight in with the vocals and also (I think?) dropped the 'land of meat' proto-rap.

Blue Monday overlapped it too.

By the sounds of it TPK was a welcome addition to the set, but not a patch on the original live version(s) - I'm contenting myself with listening to them at the moment - a whole playlist of TPK live... :thumb:
