can't see it on the ica site. does this mean i'm going to have to use a phone and talk to a real person? i hate it when that happens.

According to the latest ICA press mailing, "Film Event – Michael Shamberg presents New Order", is scheduled for Autumn 2006 (subject to confirmation). This is billed as "A night of New Order on-screen. An audio-visual journey through the group's history, presented by Michael Shamberg. Seminal videos will be screened, as well as premieres of new videos for Everything's Gone Green and Turn and a rare chance to see Leos Carax's video for Crystal. Followed by DJ event in the ICA Theatre, with Peter Hook, Tony Wilson, Oliver Wilson."

We got ours by ringing the number for the ICA, tickets arrived this morning. But yes, it`s at the Cochrane theatre, part of the London institute.

Unfortunately not, have been way too busy with work for most of this week to even think about buying a ticket...
I knew I should have bought one when it was first announced... Ah well... 
I went to this last night, on the whole it was pretty entertaining. Wilson reeled out the usual stories, Savilles lateness with everything, Blue mondays cost to Factory, Joy Division gluing Durutti Column sleeves whilst watching porn.
For the uninitiated I reckon it was a pretty good insight into what Factory was about and the impact they had on culture at that time. The whole Factory ethos was summed up when asked how a particularly bad piece of design for Section 25 got past, Saville said "Past what?"
Bit of a celebrity audience too, I spotted Jarvis Cocker and Glen Matlock. A great evening all rounded off in the pub with a few mates and Mr Jarvis (Alan, not Cocker)
On the Shadowplayers DVD, there is much discussion on that Section 25 sleeve - apparently each sleeve needed to be licensed from the makers of the paper used, and that it was folded by a team of blind people!
