After 1 month of keeping my head down I thought I would share with the forum what happended to me at the Big Top when I went to see NO.

A number of months prior I was the first person to buy tickets for the event as like you all here I am a huge fanatic.

2 nights in Liverpool booked in a hotel with one of my mates who came up from Somerset.

I managed to get a seat 5 rows back from the front but when NO came on I seized the moment and tried to get to thr front row as there was a few spaces. I immediately got ejected by the heavy habnded security guys. I got to hear the first 2 bars I think and then that was it. No exp[lanation no warning at all. Unreal.

I spent the night wondering lost around docks in Liverpool listening to New Order. Torture.

Anyway, I will try and get tickets for Wolverhampton or Blackpool and hope to fare better.

The annoying thing was I had to tell the wife and kids that it was an excellent gig as it would be too embarresing to admit what happended.

First two bars, that must be a record! Still as you will have gathered you aren't the only one who had a bad time in L'Pool!

I think what has pissed me off most about this isn't the fact that it happened at all, but that the powers that be have blatantly disregarded any of the complaints made. Didn't get a single response to those complaint mails I forwarded, not even an acknowledgement, and it's been nearly a month since they went. I expected better of the Mirror guy to be honest.

Really sorry to hear another story about a ruined night, but thanks for sharing it.

When next year's line-up for the Summer Pops is announced, I'm going to register on every fan site I can find for the bands that are playing and tell everyone there what a shit night out it's likely to be. I'll be on here encouraging you all to do the same as well.

Tim's right - not responding to complaints is absolute shit. What a pile of wankers.
