I would consider it, seen as we are staying over in Wolv.

Hooky dj set?, won't he be worn out by then - after 3 days of solid activity??

Oh, I'm sure Mr Hook is aware of various pep-me-ups to keep him truckin' through the wee small hours....

Which time is the last one Jeff?

Might catch it with you...

Though I don't know yet when I'll be in England and up to when... which would be a good thing.

Hey, wouldn't it be cheaper/easier for a the London bunch to rent a car and have a designated driver drive everyone back to London after the show/party?

all I can say is, there is no fucking way in hell I am ever getting behind the wheel of an automobile in England, you fuckers drive on the wrong side of the road!!!

I second that..

I would be a danger to everybody if I even remotely tried to drive on the right side of a car on the left side of the road in a foreign land... AT NIGHT.

And I can't drive manual, so that will probably ruin is since automatic is not necessarly the obvious choice over there ;)

Anyways, I'll have to get my act up soon, it seems at this point I'll be travelling alone and staying in England and not going to France, since my wife won't be coming unfortunatly, so I'll try to find something, but I'm glad because I found great tickets on Air Canada.

Well folks, I just did the first step! My reservation at the Britannia is also done! :thumb:

So I guess I'll be at the DJ Set I guess, I won't be on as much JetLag as Jeff, but there is no way I'm going to bed at 18:00 (after the gig for me) :evil4:

I can't even cross the road without danger of being hit by a car, let alone driving

How much did you people pay for a room at the Brittania? I booked a double room for £72 but i see the website is now offering doubles for £49 (booked on Internet for a limited period i think)

I may cancel and rebook a cheaper room as i havent paid anything yet.

Cheers

The price is £49 in the offers page but it goes to £59 when you do the actual booking.

I haven't booked anything yet either.

Mine was £85 (for a double), but I'll be claiming that one back on my expenses! :smoking:

I'll be giving the hotel a test run next Monday/Tuesday, as they didn't have any hotels in Telford free, so Wolverhampton was the next best place (15 odd minutes train ride away). I'll also investigate how far the Civic Hall is from the hotel, and all the decent eats (courtesy of company expenses)! :thumb:

Due to a poor response for advance tickets the aftershow party is looking unlikley to happen.

We're getting old! Two late nights in London immediately prior to Wolverhampton, and a Sunday night ain't a great party night. We're no longer 24 Hour Party People!
