Which are the best hotels to get easy to the festival ground?
Been looking into this area as well. The venue is somewhat far removed from the city center, but it's very close to a rail station. The transit system here is much better than in Rio or Sao Paulo. So rather than find a place near the venue, I'm thinking I'll stay somewhere more centrally located so I can easily go sightseeing and I'll take the train to the venue.
Not sure where yet. Haven't gotten that far. There's no shortage of hotels in this city, though.
Here's one right in the heart of the city with low room rates but still looks decent...
De La Paix Hotel
Beds are probably small and the windows probably don't have a view, but I'm not picky about stuff like that. I can sleep anywhere. To me what matters is location and convenience. Your criteria may vary.
Here are some ****-Hotels in the city with better prices:
Concord Callao
Callao 1234, C1061ABB Buenos Aires - Capital Federal
Gran Hotel Dora Buenos Aires
Maipú 963, 1006 Buenos Aires - Capital Federal
The festival seems to be 20 kms north of downtown. I think, there will be a shuttle service, too.
