Like I care about the venue.
With the limited amount of gigs New Order give these days, they could do it in a bathroom and I'd still be there :p

Went last week to Madonna, had a great time. £3 a pint aswell, not bad. It'll be totally different from the farcical '87 show when i was seated right near the back, at least we'll get a bit of atmosphere going at the front this time.

was in the city and didn't even hear about. My own fault.. but reading about the Thunderbird lineup the next Day. Used to seeing Rugby matches there.

Indeed, Wembley in 1987 was a whole different era, but who back then could have possibly imagined that the old bastards would be back there nearly 20 years later!! it will be a fantastic gig!

Many years ago I swore I'd never EVER go to another gig at Wembley Arena (last one was the Jam in Dec 82) and the Hammersmith Odeon (last one was U2 in May 83). But then I never thought NO would play either of those "shitter" venues. Decisions decisions.
At least the sound will be good at Wembley , I live a lot closer to Wolverhampton , but the sound at the last New Order gig there (Civic) was awful , so there was no contest , - Wembley for me , it was great last time .

Interesting thought. Wemberlee's been through a major overhaul of late, hasn't it? Like, it was shut for a good year whilst undergoing some major internal surgery.
Sound should be as pristine as you can get for a venue of that size, no?! Not that sound can ever really be 'pristine' in a venue of that size, I wouldn't have thought?
Still, won't stop people here complaining about the sound, as usual! 
It'll still be an aircraft hanger of a venue, and unless they've done some major work to sort out the acoustics in the place and moved the main speaker stacks to somewhere that provides sound for all the venue rather than those directly in front of them it will sound as bad as before. Down the front is the only place to be, as per usual!
