What a shame, I must have missed that

You could always do a gymnastic display to entertain the lads!

We'll practise a dance routine in the toilets like 14 year olds!!

I must apologise for that, but I thought we'd agreed not to tell anyone...?

What have you been doing (besides Facsimile :p )

Like the idea of the dance routine - you plan the moves, I'll follow!

You've said it now Ness. I'll get working on the choreography immediately, no backing out now

Community II goes on sale 3 days after the gig, I think. It will give you a chance to meet some of the people involved in it though.

He'll be wearing a hat as usual won't he?

Oh, that's cool. For some reason I thought the pre-release was the only release. Must be a temporary lapse of insanity. I'm hoping for a Bob Dylan-esque Shadowplay one off performance from you. :D

Then, the idea of ROCKET doing stand-up is really appealing, can't it be slotted in as an audience warm-up feature?!

What do you think Monkey??

I'm very keen to attend especially as my New Order attending and drinking buddy is going to a wedding on the Saturday and I head off back home to France on the Sunday morning...

What do you all look like?! Shall I wear a carnation or something?!

Details please or do I need to trawl through the four pages...?!

I shall shuffle up to the side of you,in the style of a John Le Carre spy novel and whisper the line:

"The stork flies south in Autumn" :smoking:

You do realise that you might have to look after me!

Seriously though, I'd like to attend and but I need to know what the fuck is going on... Do we all wear NOOL badges or something? And how do I know who Christopher Owens is?

Venue holds up to 1000 I was told.

This leaves around 400 places for NOOLers apparently, Tim will correct me or censor me on this one ;)

Lovely venue and it runs off the tongue so easily! Ooo-looo!

I've actually got some sort of floor-planner from a Karl Bartos gig at said venue a few years back which has got capacity of rooms listed on it.

Not relevant I know but I thoroughly enjoyed the Karl Bartos gig supported by Client no less...

I told Sarah from Client she'd had sweaty pits during the gig, straight afters.

The ex-wife smoothed over the situation (not that it actually needed smoothing) by talking to her about shoes instead. Vivienne Westwood shoes. Big red ones.

re: the date. Saturday 28th? I thought the Sunday was the 28th? That's what it says on my Wolves ticket.

Sneaky extra date perhaps? Maybe you've got lucky and they'll play just for you in Wolves on the 28th?

I read it like a day or two ago, probably was drunk or something. My bad. And now I wasted two posts about my stupidity. Haha.

Dear OldMonkey,

In a nutshell, I'm a relatively new and junior member of NOOL. And are very keen to come along to the NOOL day at ULU on Saturday, October 28th 2006.

I'm sure you've told loads of people this, but are writing to ask you and the board in general for their help and advice about the below:

  1. Could I have 2 tickets please if possible to NOOL day? ian.yeung@cantab.net is my email address.

  2. I'm going to the Wembley concert as well the night before on Friday October 27th, 2006.

  3. Thus is there some way for everyone to meet up and have some big travelling procession/group thing for both days? Ie. a NOOL party/gathering/piss up again, just like the wonderful NOOL pub gathering last summer? Ie. meeting in the pub again perhaps before both gigs?

Thank you in advance to everyone for their advice in all this! cheers ian
