Hello

Been on this site for a few years but registered, at last, today.

Anyone going to this?

Emigrated to Oz from London in the new year and can see tomorrow as being the only local NO-related action for the near future.

I am going - 2 acts worth seeing - Hooky and Coldcut live - and they clash! Will try and see the tail end of Coldcut unless Hooky's DJing isn't up to much.

Going to see Hooky myself on Oct 6th, and the clips I've seen on youtube.com he looks pretty impressive as a DJ. There's clip of him of a MTV broadcast and its relly good. Anyone know the song he's mixing ?? It starts with the words 'Lets f**k'

Hi

Well that was jolly.

Hooky played a few NO and JD classics, as well as Killers, Gorillaz etc. - a very anthemic shouty sing-a-long set rather than beats and breaks.

See photos here:

Hooky signed my copy of Round&remix on 3" CD - didn't want to take anything that could bend or snap - this fits in the pocket easily!

Had far too may Heinekens, went to see the end of Coldcut and stumbled home.

Welcome aboard, Jetset.

If you're setting up in Melbourne make sure you choose your AFL team wisely.

And if you ever head down to the Melbourne Museum, ask for Wayno. He's a legend in those parts. If you successfully execute the secret NOOL handshake, you'll get discount on the Munchasaurus Meal Deal at the cafe.

Jeez Spacejunk, his profile doesn't suggest he's into masochism.

"Hobbies: New Order, dance festivals, watching my team get cornholed every weekend."

Cheers for the recommendations, depthcharge.

My girlfriend doesn't really support any AFL team and the "in-laws" are all Geelong supporters. Hmmmm... Been to a couple of matches, one a corporate jolly, the other just to show some visiting friends what it was like.

I think I'll stick to Carlisle United FC, currently doing not bad at all in League One (old Third Division) in the English Premiership. Support involves logging on t'internet twice a week - oh well, spent many a miserable Saturday or midweek in the rain and walked away after a nil-nil thriller.
