I can't believe the stick this poor girl has got!

Yea its a bit rough.

Heidi is definitely an organiser. A future politician perhaps.

And i didnt get the chance to knock over her drink in the Landmarc the other day, like i did to everyone else. :beer2:

I don't think it's abuse, but I think there's a certain amount of naivety on Heidi's part.

I spoke to Andy Rob on both Monday and Wednesday of this week. Even had Roger Lyons phone me last night. And I'm sure many who post here (and a few who don't) have also spoken to people close to the band this week as well. Defo JG and ATR just for starters.

So I balk when someone says to me "I'M going to tell New Order's management what YOU want New Order to do live".

I want to hear Sunrise and Age of Consent. I certainly wouldn't dream of writing to the band with my concerns however.

I also don't write to Points of View when I don't like a programme on the telly.

Horses for courses, I guess.

That's exactly the feeling I was left with after reading the original post. I think it's just a case of over-enthusiasm on Heidi's part. Don't see what organising the aftershow has to do with organising the actual gig though? Unless she did both?

The whole thing reminded me of those feedback cards you get in fast food restaurants with the smiley and sad faces on them.

Does anybody ever fill them in? Except maybe Alan Partridge?!

Well, they must read this. But I don't really see why anyone would want to tell them how they should be performing? People will vote with their feet if they're not happy.

I want to see New Order live, not someone's interpretation of them. So what if - for example - they're not doing Technique stuff live? I don't want to go see New Order playing Technique stuff just cos they read somewhere that they should be playing Technique stuff. That would surely then defeat the object of what the band are about if they're taking on direction from external parties.

Well folks I think we all know that NO will do what they like, when they like and that's one of the reasons we all like them.

Then when they do something out of the blue - well the rush is amazing.

As long as they keep touring - that's the main thing and dont get pissed off by the something like the poor turn out at Bournemouth. But I feel they certainly look like they enjoy themselves more now - but I guess we all do when we get older and fatter.

Well done Heidi - a bit of enthusiasm wont do the moaners any harm at all :thumb:

Heidi did well to organise a great after show at short notice. I would advise she leaves it at that. thankfully they are not the sort of group who would respond to such letters as she suggests. Take that have reformed perhaps they need some new fans hiedi and fans sugestion and feed back?. You may want to drop the saint hood as it might offend a strict church going regular like me. well said alex aka big clive

I found one that someone had filled in and forgotten to submit a couple of weeks ago.

Goodness knows what they had ordered, but their responses suggested that they'd had the restaurant experience of a lifetime.

Helpfully, she included her email address on the card. I've written a couple of times requesting clarification, but I have yet to recieve a response.

For the record, I didn't fill one of their stupid cards in as I was far too drunk on overpriced rioja.

I think we should all give Heidi a break. '1st gig overload' is a good description, but how many of the old seasoned cynics can remember how exciting it is to go to your 1st gig?

I enjoyed the Bournemouth gig, though it wasn't a patch on Newcastle, which was an absolute belter.
