Can anybody help settle an arguement?

I saw New Order at Macclesfield Leisure Centre in (I think)1984. Can anybody remember going to this gig or confirm if I have the right year.

johny marr was in the bar!,honest ,pre gig talking bout proposed smiths,orderconcert at main road that never happend.

ive still got the original ticket stub ,,number one.

gig wasnt to brill as i remember ,,,stood around ages waiting for an encoure that didt come...

should also have added that the real hardcore factory fans stayed in a mac b&b on james street(james were signed to factory at the time.)
