It years since ive been to the Civic but does anybody know if it has seating? From what i remember it is all standing even in the upstairs stalls.
Reason i ask...my pregnant other half might need to put her feet up if it gets a bit too much downstairs.
Cant wait for our first No gig since MancVcancer though, and just hope that they won't have dropped Turn and Who's Joe from the set list by then. Its been great reading all you exploits at the other gigs...getting us in the mood.

Cheers VM! Maybe 578 seats in the balcony then...that should be enough for her to sprawl out if she's too knackered after Crystal and Regret.
Cant remember there being any seats on the ground floor though especially not anything near 1448.

I think they seat it for comedy and so on. Always standing when I've been, last time being 10+ years ago for either Buffalo Tom or PWEI?
It depends which hall it is in , last time I saw them play at the Civic (a long time ago!) there were some seats available up on the balcony) , when I went to see Monaco it was in the smaller hall round the back and it was all standing.
It's at the main Civic Hall (the smaller venue attached is called Wulfrun Hall) for gigs such as this it'll be all standing downstairs and a mixture of standing/seating upstairs.
I've seen some storming gigs at this great venue - Smashing Pumpkins (supported by Verve), Echo & The Bunnymen, White Stripes, The Stone Roses, The Strokes, Primal Scream.
Hoping they're going to play a blinder, last night of the tour and all!!
If it's all standing, does that mean that you can go to standing area although you have 'seating' tickets? I've got a pair of standing and a pair of standing/seating....I'm a little bit confused. Can anyone help?

I was at that Monaco gig too. Along with about 30 others as I recall!!

As far as I'm aware (and I could be wrong) it's all standing in the stallls (downstairs) and a mixture of seating and standing in the balcony. If you have a ticket for the balcony (whether it's for standing or seating), you won't be allowed to stand downstairs. Do give them a ring to check, they're usually helpful at the box office - 0870 320 7000

I've just spoke to a helpful chap at the box office and if you have an 'unreserved' ticket that applies to downstairs only (where there is definitely no seating).
I asked if i could swap my standing downstairs tickets for upstairs seating but unfortunately (for my preggers wife) they have completely sold out the gig so no opportunity to exchange them.
A.Girl, if a couple of your tickets are designated for seats upstairs I would be willing to do a swap on the night with our unreserved standing tickets. Let me know here or email me on scott.butler@hotmail.co.uk.
