So what does Guilt sound like live?

Is it more like the Mac Quayle version? Are there female backign vocals?

Does phil play keyboards, guitar, or both? Is Steve on live drums or keyboards....

How long is it? Does it build to a big finish?

Come on people! :)

How does it sound?

Seen Zak play a few times..... with The Lighting Seeds and Quoasis

Well thank you! For New order fan to say my music sounds good, thats a real honor.

not a fan of album track, but sounded good live

Right, it's only going to be online at this address for two hours. After that someone else will have to host it and share it. I cannot afford a repeat of the problems last time I posted some music for you all, cost me over £100 and had our website down for three weeks.

That actually sounds really good.

Would it kill Phil to play some keyboards though? Teh keys on the album souns way better than the guitar parts he makes up live. I dont like who on all of the new New Order tracks live, Phil puts his synth parts on the backign track and plays useless guitar.

Cheers mate....... I thought it would be more synthesised, still fucking good though.

Cracking.

Shame somebody had to take an aviary of canaries with them though.............

Thats where New Order miss Gillian the most.... Phil is a good guitarist, but they really miss Gillian, you can really tell the difference.

Think that live recording walk all over most studio recordings. Certainly don't get the remixing or the layers but still.

Tim - old Monkey. Thank- you. Sorry to hear that the last upload- download hit cost so much and the site was down for three weeks. Occasional Digital Paypals maybe.

Can't remember much about it from Monday night but i think it was pretty good ,aye

I just dont understand why NO asked Phil to join....Gillian was primarily a synth player...so why hire a guy who apparently hates playing keyboards?

I mean, would it have killed him to play keys on Guilt?

There is hardly any live keyboards these days, and that's the way it is going to be. Most of the fuck-ups the band used to make were down to Gillian on the keys, and rather than Phil not liking playing keys, they've simply put most of the synth parts onto hard disk, which frees up Phil to play more guitar and Bernard to do more singing and autocue reading.

Put it this way, if they weren't using the hard disk and autocue, there wouldn't be any live New Order.

I thought Guilt was quite good on Monday...when Steve came in with the drums it sounded great!

Sounds great live.

Why on earth didnt they perfom this during the American leg and first leg of the WFTSC tour?

Guilt sounds a hell of a lot better than Hey Now What Ya Doing. Especially live. Its better than Working Overtime as well.

Whose Joe?

WFTSC

Turn

Krafty

Jetstream

Guilt

Those should have been played at all of the concerts that were promoting the WFTSC album.

Can't say I'm a massive fan of the actual track but live at Blackpool, thought it was definately a highlight of the set, cracking Hooky bassline,no wonder he's got a bad back! Has made me go & give it a chance anyway:clap: :thumb:

I thought it was only up for 2 hours last night, or is there a chance it will come back??! Suppose Monkey will tell us.

Shame you didn't get to hear it in Bournemouth - maybe the dance moves weren't perfected at that stage!

NO - this person - ATHE - has downloaded from Tim & is now hosting it themselves (well done Athe BTW), but their bandwidth is exceeded for today - i'll keep checking back for this one - I'd love to hear it.

(I'm trying hard not to comment on the "only up for 2 hours last night" quote:D )

After the debacle the other week when I put a whole gig up and our site got closed down for three weeks and I had to pay £100 for extra bandwidth to get it started again, I was only prepared to host this for two hours - someone else could take over then, enough people snatched it in that time! Fifty people downloaded it last night, they can host it now! Thanks to Athe for taking a lead and doing just that.

Then just ask me Tim, I'll gladly use the space Sam is giving us for NOOL for treats like this.

Send it to my email, I'll upload it and voilà.

Now that Andy and Bernard told me in person they don't mind about the live stuff, I don't feel like it's such a big deal, I just won't post a full gig so people would start selling it on eBay.

Guilt is a useless emotion - Live @ Newcastle

Everybody deserves a second chance.

It may be a slow download for who is outside Brazil (or maybe not). sorry for that anyway

And really band dancing. Bernard looked like he was in the Pipettes or something.

Of course, he's a 50 yr old man, so he doesnt look like any of the Pipettes.

To be honest, Who's Joe sounds wonderful, but Guilt (at least the Blackpool version) looks just improvised...

I'm afraid I have to agree.

It's a Useless Live Track.

Especially if it displaces True Faith (when Roy Gets the beer in!)

Christ, if he looked like the dark-haired lass out of the Pipettes I'd be off with Al, Mark and Welshcake to Latin America next month.....
