It would be an honour to see the last New Order gigs here in Brazil if this really happened. But I am pretty sure it won't be this time :)

It sure was brilliant, starting with the JD set and then loads of favourites. Sound was excellent. Deek said that they would play Love Vigilantes as an encore, and I was like: don't be daft! And when I saw Barney with the melodica I said "it'll be YSF". Couldn't believe my ears !! Met up in the pub beforehand with Claire and Henry, and others whose names I have forgotten, sorry. Nice to see so many familiar faces at the venue as well: Julie, Rosie, Chris, Clive, Tim, Simon, Don, Dave, Mick, Al. Saw Spotnick from a distance but didn't get to say hello. Got hit on the head by, I think, Missy Jem. And ended up walking back to the hotel with Maya and Johnny. Absolutely fab from start to finish.

Enjoyed every mintue and meeting everyone - as usual is almost as entertaining at the gig.

Loved the JD section at the start. Poor old Hooky got cramp in Atmos and looked a bit uncomfortable in Blue Monday :( - obviously he has recovered though. Bernard looked the most knackered I've ever seen during BLT, thought he was never going to get up from 'kneeling down and praying'!

The whole of the Wembley looks a bit more impressive than is used to. Shame the big bit doesn't work yet

Aha,thought so...Very good of you Shuggs. The lads are all raving about this gig,which was their third and best New Order gig they have done they say..They were already well aware of the Vikings,and are chuffed as fuck with their badges...Apologies if they pestered you for them in anyway though..Pack of cheeky pissed up so and so's.

Was a great eve ... what was started off as one of the wankiest fridays, truned into a cracker...

bumped into lots of you dancing round like a loon, so didnt have opp to introduce mysefl properly, excpet for hugging various sweaty folks ... NO were superb... even got my arse felt up, which was a result too ...by a lady which made it even better...

Wembley was an amazing gig and Friday's performance is up there with their Manchester Apollo 2005 gig IMO. For me their performance seemed more special than the 'special' Bournemouth gig with the set list (She's Lost Control, Atmosphere, Love Vigilantes), their energy and reaction with the crowd/themselves all pointing to NO having the enthusiasm to do at least one more album and one last tour. Hope you all had a good time at Wolves last night and to those who are going (Luton Order, Ricardo etc.) have a good one at their Brazilian gigs! Cheers!!

top setlist, my dad made that up and i thought it worked amazingly well

i'm taking the credit for putting love vigilantes in the encore though

anyways glad you all seemed to enjoy it - it was quality i had an awesome weekend

It was indeed a fantastic set list, Full marks to Hooky on that one, and to you for Love Vigilantes, wasn't expecting that, felt sure we were gonna get KW1 when Barney picked up the melodica.

Yous all know that when your THAT close to the rig, the venue accoustics aren't THAT big a factor dontcha? Seemed to be only a certain part of tha arena being used with the back hung with accoustic drapes, also numerous accoustic drapes on roof......probably yhey're trying to calm the room down....but I have no idea when they all appeared, and have no previous comparison beyond the 87 bootleg which sounds like it was recorded in a bog bowl.

Am I the ONLY sod who thought Hooky was WAY too quiet? If I hadn't known every note he should be playing I would not have been able to pick the bass out. At a few points I could hear his fucking BACKLINE louder than him in the main PA. I was just off axis of the stage left stack, so maybe I just blindspotted myself.

Ok now i am fukcing gutted. That has to be as good a set list as you are gonna see for a NO gig.

Wembley Arena has just had a £35m refit, part of which went to improving the acoustics. There was a giant black sheet draped down, probably blanking off 30%-40% of the arena, so it was nowhere near capacity.

And Cambo, you were constantly shouting 'turn up the fookin bass'. Seemed about right to me. I thought Hooky was very quiet in the sense he didnt give us loads of his usual banter between songs.

Not seeing them since Hyde Park last year, I was hoping they'd be awesome and I wasn't disappointed. Cheers to my bro for buying me my ticket as a birthday present back in July, to Chris Nash for buying the other two spares (long story) and to everyone I met at the Green Man - cheers for the beers!

Grouping the JD material together at the start was an inspired move and it was great to hear These Days and Shadowplay. I was down in the standing are and was glad I was too as the atmos there was great. Mucho dancing by all around, despite being quite packed. A stunning lassie took my hand right at the end with a huge beam on her face - lucky me for an old git of 40! - and a bloke shook my hand as he could see how transported I was. Truly this was one of the finest gigs I've ever seen them play and almost matched GMEX in 88.

Thank you to everyone. I came out totally drained but elated. Chris wanted me to go to ULU on Saturday but I knew I'd be too knackered and skint too. Here's to the next time - let's hope it's not too long. Power to the Vikings!!
