Fuck me ma heid's banging and my ears are ringing!!!!

A massive round of applause to all those involved in organising this event. Fucking great night.

I feared the worst when I heard it was a haunt for students and that there would be loads of them about, by the time we got there at 9, the place was full of everyone from this site. Great to meet with all the usual faces and a few new one's too.

Unfortunately we missed Flight, but I heard they went down a treat, we got there just after Pottsy started his set - really enjoyed that, I know you shouldnae make comparrisons but I felt there was a bit of a Paul Weller vibe to his set.....which was really good.

£1.30 for a pint of Carling. Dog's Bollocks, let's just say the Corby Order made the most of them prices! Twas great to finally meet up with mein fuhrer Nicos Le Blank as well.

Digital provided a storming set, poor ole Jim Reilly Jim Reilly was heckled by many for being the new Ricky Gervais and there were loads of shouts of "Yer having a laugh" Digital played a mixed set of both Joy Division & New Order and the crowd even started a wee mosh pit at the front of the stage. This was the first time we (Corby Order) had the pleasure of finally seeing the tribute bands and it was a lot more than we expected, to hear all the old classics that New Order don't do anymore.

Re : Order were every bit as impressive, as soon as Will hits the mic he transforms into Barney of the 80's, again the mosh pit was in full flow. Even Mrs Shug said that Re : Order were up there with the real thing. SUBCULTURE. Fcuk me I nearly passed out with the excitement of hearing that again, though I did barrack Ian and Will later for not doing the "Tight" echo to the song that so frequently happened in the old days. TPK & The Perfect Kiss were nailed perfectly and it was great to hear the full TPK!!!!!

By the time Hooky came on for his DJ set everyone was a bit fcuked, cheers to Monty for lending me his back stage pass, unfortunately I had no idea where I was going when I got backstage. I vaguely remember asking Heather where Jack was and said a quick hello to Jack on the stairs, Jack had already introduced himself to the legend that is, Rocket Mick. Hooky's set was the same as usual with loads of different genres being covered, but the crowd favourite was the Vikings Theme dance remix.......honestly! Hooky even signed a CD for Ness - so Ness has a wee trophy. Baldrick was also happy as fcuk as he ended up with one of Re : Order's drumsticks.

We milled around the bar area for a bit and made a point of speaking to as many people as we could before heading off into the night and back to Corby.

I can only speak for the Corby Order and say it was a fucking pleasure last night, the night went as well as could possibly be expected, roll on next year.

I will see most of ye's in Wolves tonight.

EDIT : I also have a 10 second snippet of Digital doing Heart & Soul, about a minute of them doing LWTUA and about a minute or two of Re : Order doing Subculture, all the pics and vids were taken by her.

Fuck, nearly forgot Ultraviolence.

The Re : Order lads did this and Mrs Shug enquired if it was a Joy Division song. She was really impressed by this - so I have to dig PCL out for her, so to the Re : Order lads a big thumbs up - Maybe I will convert Tamzin into becoming the same obsessed eedjit that I am.....then again, is anyone as sad as me?

I now have bruises on my bruises, moshing again!

Ended up not working behind the stall again, but I did buy a t-shirt and a poster.

Digital were superb, first time I've seen them and Re:Order were brilliant too, I loved Subculture, never heard them do that.

Left shortly after Hooky came on, I'd peaked and had to be carted off home (thanks to Bonz and Leggy D). What a great night, cheap too!!

Good to here the Re-order lads come on to Hashim and to meet the likes of Burt and Snorri for the first time properly.

Great night I will agree.

Re:Order were on top form - great set. Got to admit to only watching about three of Digital songs, but could hear it from the bar, they were tighter than last time I saw them. Managed to see Jim Riley's spectacular performance - he is a legend :clap:

Shug, Hooky didn't sign a CD for me, he gave me a CD of with 'Viking's Mix' written on - the last track he played. So I am very grateful to him for that - very kind! It has a bit of techno in there and seems to have an interview mixed in, can't quite work out what, but it sounds a bit like Bernard!

Monty was great, dj-ing very enthusiastically in the early hours to a small audience!

Enjoyed chatting to so many people, but must mention meeting the lovely Mrs Disco (whose real name I have forgotten - sorry)! She even managed to smile through Alex taking her bottle of water and pouring half of it over her head! Lovely to meet you hope you have got back to Sweden safely.

HA HA! I keep telling everyone,my next "neworderdisco" will be held at the red phone box outside Primark. Loved it to bits,even though my set ended up a little short(grrr..).Though they'd let me play longer seeing as the clocks went back. Miserable feckers! Got severely pissed on backstage Cobra lager.Great meeting everyone again.Got some fantastic photies which I'll put on here soon as I can. The journey from Manchester to my house seemed a lot longer than the bloody train journey,seeing as they decided to close down my stretch of the Metrolink line,and replaced it with a bus who's driver didn't know where he was going.After circling round Prestwich three laps of honour,I shouted to him "Christ I'm glad your not my taxi driver,I'd be out of pocket by now".

Yup Monty.. but the three songs you played were the f_____ nuts. I shouldda spoken to you earlier when we was both in a less pissed state, cos i found the night bus that went past Elephant and Castle miraculously, and just got home before the birds started singing. I got a psychopathic Jamaican sitting next to me instead, so i reckon you got the best deal.

Last i saw of you, you were dusting off a Moby CD for god-like bass-playing DNA.

It was great! Fine to see the cover bands, people from overseas haven't usually the chance to see them. Very impressive. Nice to meet some sheds and formerly sheds on Saturday, too.

I'll second everything put here. Loved every minute of Blue Saturday and not just because of Hooky's DJ-set. I really liked the vibe of the night which enabled us all to get together, share our JD/NO stories and dance like mad b******'s in the mosh pit. Nice meeting up with Luton Order again (hope you have a good one in Brazil mate) and new faces like Al Jarvo, Nick King, Spotnick, Jeffari-al-Texani, oldmonkey, Digital Mike & Johnny Giles & their Viking mates I met in The Marlborough, Ricardo, Mrs Disco, Snorrimon, Pompey Order, Ness, lucyjane, the guy from Sheffield (originally Wiltshire) who bought me a beer, the New Zealander from Camden and also bought me a beer, the guy from Sale (nr Marsland Road) which was a stones throw from where I used to work all of which were top people and everyone else I spoke to that I'm too ****ed to remember. I mingled between the bar - taking advantage of the bargain (for London) £1.30 for a pint of Carling and dance floor. Managed to catch Pottsy, Digital and Re:Order all of which were very good with the later two doing justice to JD/NO classics and our freaky dancin' (he he) wetted our appetites for Hooky's DJ set. This was the first time I'd seen Hooky DJ and although I'm biased he is a very good DJ mixing up some JD/NO bootlegs (love to get hold of some of these!) with Hacienda and Dance classics. He and 'The Sarge' were also friendly with the crowd shaking hands and singing tickets and T-Shirts and for me this along with the Wembley gig put the icing on the cake of a wonderful couple nights. DJ Monty did a brief DJ set before the proceedings ended around 2:30 and I staggered knackered and drunk but a very, very happy man! Hope everyone had as good a night as me and I hope to meet you all again some time soon! Cheers!!

so had to walk back to the hotel. on the way back we walked straight past spotnick and he didn't even notice!!!

Yeah - but cos it was that dark in there - you couldnae make it out (even after using a powerful editing programme!), there were several other unpostable one's as well mate, so I was well gutted......

Then again...if a SINGLE one of us had had the presence of mind (or presence of A mind) to get a couple of minicab numbers it may have went better.

Top night, though some memories are only just emerging thanks to the prices at the bar! Great to finally meet so many NOOLers - what a friendly (though in some cases completely bonkers) bunch! Thanks to Al for the Vikings badge, meeting him and LutonOrder almost made me reappraise my hatred for Luton :evil4: Definitely try and get along to see Digital and Re:Order next time they're playing - top stuff... After the gig on Friday surpassing all expectations, Saturday was just a bonus...

Top tip for those out-of-towners struggling to get home at 3am from a night out.

"Just walk down to a fcuking cab office."

Trust me, it works wonders.

Standing on the spot and jumping up and down doesn't help matters at all. Cabs won't come any quicker.

That would be the same advise for any city any-where in the world at 3am.

The only cab I got in London, was cos I got myself well lost looking for The Bass centre, which was in an alley behind spitalfields market. The driver apologised profusely before we even set off, saying that it's a tiny distance but that the roadworks would send us on a ludicrous detour that would cost a fortune ( £9 it turned out), a very co-operative chap all round.

Then suddenly I hear these tales.

Is it that they wont get a fare back? Are parts of Ye Olde Londinium, no go areas?

... or take a night bus. I took the bus from Goodge to Charing Cross and then to St. Paul's Church. But I must admit, first I chose the wrong direction. When the bus went next to the Koko, I realized, something must be wrong.
