Because I found one on the floor whilst helping a guy look for his missing boot. I offered him the camera (thinking that's what he was looking for), but he declined. He could have just took it and I'd have been none the wiser, as I was completely monged at the time. Anyway, post on this thread if you did lose it.

Hi,
My friend Jessica lost her camera during the early part of New Order's set. It's a Canon A610, and if it's still working it should have lots of photos of Paul Smith from Maximo Park on. Is this the one you found?

Well this is odd because the one I picked up is also a Canon Powershoe A610 but to be honest, looking at it in the cold light of day (well, night, actually), it's prolly not worth sending back, having been trampled on by 500 or so people! It certainly can't be said to be working.

There's a very good chance that's it!
Jess isn't so much concerned about the camera (she has a honking great digital SLR for proper photography), but the memory card inside should still be OK. If it's not too much trouble could you please take a look at what's on it to see if it is indeed hers? Like I said above, there should be several photos of Maximo Park's Paul Smith (not the she's obsessed. At all.). If the card's OK she'd really appreciate getting it back.

Seriously though - nice to see that Vikings are honest and happy to help out - whoever lost the camera, hope they get it back okay and GeordieViking - you're a fcuking star for actually posting this - shows there's still good, honest people out there.
