During Re: Order's set, Hooky turned to me backstage and said "what the fook's this? This isn't one of ours! Is it Procession?". "No, it's Cries and Whispers." "Never fookin' heard it before in me life".

Other memories I will cherish for ever, looking up during Perfect Kiss and seeing Hooky nodding (presumably with the rhythm rather than at my bass playing!), hearing the cheers after Crystal and at the start of Ceremony, seeing so many people having a good time, and watching Flight do Shadowplay. That and hearing the first few bars of Pottsy's "I'm the Greatest", which is on constant rotation at home now as the best song I have heard for many a year.

For me, as I said elsewhere, it has to be Will telling me to turn the sequencer up. I laughed out loud and obliged. For one second, I was NO's engineer in my mind. The vikings theme as well was pretty special.

Oh and Hooky, being evil tempered and vicious to the techiies and kind and generous to the masses, in alternate breaths...PURE class.

EDIT: oh....and The look on the lighting guy's face when Tim politely asked him if he could possible get that fucking spotlight off him, please. "try not to take it personally" was all I could say to him ;)

Best moment of the night was HOOKY giving NESS the VIKING Dance Remix which PHIL CUNNINGHAM put together.

YA see I was so pleased to receive my COPY from Ness that I am doing a ROCKET MICK.

We listened to the song on constant repeat all the way home from WOLVERHAMPTON.

Massive thanks to Hooky & Phil. I hope Hooky enjoys my DVD if Andy gave him a copy :viking:

If we met Jack, I obviously didn't notice , but I was on stage at the end as well ;)

I just hope your dad kept the Community 2 CDR I have him while he was leaving stage (and the compilation of original material as well) :thumb:

So obviously my moment of that night was actually meeting everybody, I couldn't do that at Wembley since I was at sound check when everybody was at the meet-up.

Oh, blimey feel like I've been told off by my headmaster :evil4:

Yeah, but I told Shug on Sat night originally and can't even remember you saying the words 'bass tech' to me on Sunday, what do you expect after 3 nights of drink, excitement and little sleep?! I'll take full responsbility for the error

Had the cunt shot for being miserable and not enjoying the aftermath of Blue Saturday while he chases round trying to get all the loose ends sorted out. Let's just say it's not been a good week so far, a £xxxx bill for dry rot in the house, a couple of other bills, having to pay over the top for lazy student employees who did fuck all while our guys did all the work gratis, and the need for medical treatment for something that I hope doesn't need me wanting cancer research!

Did I tell you how impressed I was with your performance on Sat?? You seem to have the ability to get away with anything on stage and make it look good!

I had forgotten how beautiful your wife was aswell

THIS IS GREG NOT NESS - too lazy to log on himself!!

twas a great day/night. Good to see the usuals out and a few new faces. Was abit of a bad idea having the beer so cheap! Woke up in the morning with a fat head and a half. Then realised that we had to do it all over again. Ah well onwards and upwards. Well done Tim!! Best moment for me was Ness getting the CD. Touched by the hand of GOD!!!

What a day, loved every minute of it. Driving up to ULU I started developing flu like symptoms, by the time we got on stage my head was pounding and I was feverish, still I put it to the back of my mind and got on with the job in hand (what a geezer).

There wasn’t one defining moment, more like a series of defining moments (if that makes sense) that I’ll treasure…the camaraderie between the bands (helping with each others’ gear etc), chatting to Paul (ex Monaco drummer) from Pottsy’s band about the Monaco days, sitting in the dressing room (which was an old squash court) talking to Pottsy about his Revenge days and him telling me one of my fave Revenge gigs that I was at was filmed!!!!! (Can’t rest till I get a copy… bugger, wish he hadn’t told me now). Jim ‘he’s aving a laugh’ Reilly’s Karate Kid story, one of the funniest things I’ve heard in a long while jeezzz, Jim actually buying a bass amp, Will’s ‘Faketory’ logo sheer brilliance in my book, realising three tracks in that Hooky was standing in the wings watching us a real brown trouser moment/movement. Later Warren, who had a clear view, told me that Hooky had been there from the start of our set!!! Shugs bollocking me for not doing the high pitched ‘TIGHT’ during Subculture which I usually do at rehearsals, seeing all the NOOLer’s there, some of whom had made a huge effort to get there… here’s to the next one

Why the hell didn't I go backstage before is out of my mind... :banghead:
