Interview On RTE On Wednesday Nite

Hi For those of you with access to irish tv there is some live footage and interview from Electric Picnic on Wednesday nite on RTE 2 starting at 11.25pm. The show is called The Last Broadcast and is presented by Dave Fanning a long time new order fan.

Finally - I was wondering when they were going to air that. Now we get to see what exactly Fanning was talking to them about that made them 45 mins late for the press conference. Not that they weren't worth the wait

Yes it is - just shout "Tiocfaidh ar la" at your interactive TV control and it will magically appear.

I had a DVDR, it blew up then my TV blew up so I now have an analoge TV card feeding my Skybox into me Linux PC, all well and good and I shoul be able to record the TV with a simple "tellyon --dump /some/file" BUT, the sound comes in the sound card, and I'm buggered if I know how to say record the picture from the telly, but you need the sound from channel such and such.

I don't even have a video any more

I have promised myself a digital card, which will let me dump pure DVD spec mpg to disc, sound and all.

The repetitive chanting, the baying of NOOOO at anything that involves thinking, the milling about on a hilltop with a blocked road in only one direction, yet the inability to find a way home, it all makes sense now doesn't it :D

I taped it (twice - both vhs).

Steve will be glad to know I taped over some IRA propaganda stuff! REALLY! - i was given the tapes by someone who didnt want them anymore - said they had to be decomissioned or something

Its OK Steve, I've got about 20 of them tapes (with titles like Mallon-RUC or more worringly GAA-Olympics )Mike can have some if he wants - but I'll tape over them with versions of BM - live & video - before posting anything to him :D

As far as copies go, anyone here who can transfer vhs to DVD?

Interview wasn't up to much TBH, Hooky & Steve, not more than 15 minutes including video clips. It was split into 2 parts through the show too.
